Hi Guys,

One of the most frequently asked questions I get asked is “What do you collect?

Well the answer is … “Mostly K&C but… I’m also a big fan of my old friend Bruce Hebron and his “Metal Shed” creations.

Just last week I finally got the B25 “Mitchell” I ordered from Bruce 2 years ago! I love it so I took a few pix to share with you guys.

Hope you like ‘em.

Best wishes and… Happy Flying!
Andy C.

Very nice Andy ,I'm just waiting for you to make a mosquito ^&grin

Very nice Andy. Metal Shed stuff is fantastic. I've seen you actually buying quite a bit at shows, some for your collection and some I suppose for ideas :wink2:

Look forward to seeing you and the whole K & C contingent and having a drink or two.

Cheers,

Brad

Very nice aircraft. Is your collection at home or is it all at the office so, to speak?

Mitch

Beautiful aircraft. The ground crew really adds to the scene, as well. Great get. -- Al

Wow..I just love that plane. Wonderful. I buy ONE piece each year at Chicago from Joe Remson. I spoke to Joe a couple of weeks ago he'll a have many new items from Bruce on display ( he hopes )They are expensive , but such works of art. They really grow on you over time.

It' tough to get special items done from Bruce , accodingy to Joe , he just does want he wants and they always sell out. You can get items done, just be patient.

Congratulations Andy...Greg

Andy ,

Very Nice ! I also got a couple pieces from Bruce that i had bought at the Chicago Show over twelve years ago...
Since King & Country is kicking of the New Grey German Phase...These are my two grey Metal Shed vehicles !

Bruce's creations are mind blowing. Great thread Andy!:smile2: Congratulations on the acquisition of the B25 "Mitchell"! Like all of Bruce's items, a true 1/1. Fantastic pics; love the ground crew too! Thanks for sharing.
If anyone wants to see more pics of Bruce's art, you can look back for some older Metal Shed threads I posted after the 2011 and 2012 Westcoaster's. I shared a TON of pics from the 2011 show of Bruce's work and also a load from this year's show as well. I believe all of the pics are still active with the photo host and should still be viewable if you can find the threads. Thankfully we have an artists and personalities like Bruce in this wonderful hobby. Bruce is blessed with the gifts of supreme imagination, creativity and skill.

They are just too crude looking for me. I mean i get the artistic aspect of them but way overpriced. They are like WW2 Picasso's in that you know what is supposed to be just odd looking. Keith

Well Andy mate,
As they just say in the classics "there is no pleasing everyone all the time". I have always enjoyed as a highlight of my Chicago trips a walk thru the Metal Shed room with my wallet left in my room. ^&grin Very stunning and creative gear.
By the way, love your Liberator. Not as good as my Lancaster but, even so very nice.:smile2:
Cheers Howard

Keith,

You have to see this in person to appreciate them. They are something else. However, like Howard I leave my wallet in my room.

Btw, what's wrong with Picasso? ^&confuse

I`m always sad that I live so far away from all the action, and this feeling gets even more acute when September arrives and Chicago starts looming in the horizon... My only relief comes from the thought that my wallet is equally far from the show {sm4}!! I see why you guys have to leave it in the room... Besides everything I already know you`ll find there, these one of a kind items are really works of art, calling them Picassos is pretty fair, and very hard to resist.

I started collecting Bruce's WWII stuff, and told myself I wouldn't collect WWI. Never say never.

Ed,

Nice collection...I'm sure your not showing us the whole collection!

Andy,

Be careful...you could assist in directing a current K&C collector to start spending his K&C dollars elsewhere...for the record your post got me browsing the internet looking at buying some of these Metal Shed products for myself!:rolleyes2:
