What Does Andy Collect? (1 Viewer)

Ed,

Nice collection...I'm sure your not showing us the whole collection!

Andy,

Be careful...you could assist in directing a current K&C collector to start spending his K&C dollars elsewhere...for the record your post got me browsing the internet looking at buying some of these Metal Shed products for myself!:rolleyes2:

You are right, my WWII collection is much larger. Also, there no reason you cannot collect both.

Ed,
I was with you on a few of these expeditions, I can't wait to see all the pictures! They are just awesom!

Mark,
I don't think Andy would be disappointed if you picked up some Metal Shed pieces, otherwise I don't think he would have shared his latest Metal Shed acquisition with us. Of course Andy is a collector too, and I think a big part of the collecting joy is being able to share your collection with those who have similar collecting interests. Therefore, I'm guessing Andy would actually be quite excited to hear that his thread may have lead to a few or more folks having been exposed to Bruce's unique artistry. It's refreshing to see a current manufacturer showing his interest in another manufacturer's goods. I think it has a lot less to do with the direction of dollars and cents and a lot more to do with his respect for Bruce's originality.

I agree with everything you say Joe!

Isn't it cool Mark when manufacturers express their enjoyment of collecting too?:smile2: I guess that's why they got into manufacturing in the first place.
This really is such a great hobby!

I started collecting Bruce's WWII stuff, and told myself I wouldn't collect WWI. Never say never.

I love this!!!!!!!!!! {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

Flying planes and even an airship! In my opinion planes are great in the sky and not on the ground, so manufacturers should make supports like you did. Great idea really! Moreover, in this way, they leave space for soldiers and vehicles on the ground!

Hi Guys,

One of the most frequently asked questions I get asked is “What do you collect?

Well the answer is … “Mostly K&C but… I’m also a big fan of my old friend Bruce Hebron and his “Metal Shed” creations.

Just last week I finally got the B25 “Mitchell” I ordered from Bruce 2 years ago! I love it so I took a few pix to share with you guys.

Hope you like ‘em.

Best wishes and… Happy Flying!
Andy C.

The USAAF force line has been badly neglected by K&C. We need more planes and personnel for it. Look how great Andy's pics are. ^&cool
