There is a thread in the K&C section about this and people are actually finding figures from others on here willing to sell. I figured why not do the same in the FL section.

So - I am still looking for NAP0012 BAVARIAN STANDARD BEARER, 5TH PREYSING LINE

I have been looking for a long time, so if you have one, don't be afraid...give me your "I don't want to sell it price"!!!!

I have a longer list than just one but would really like the Prussian standard bearer. I'm still kicking myself for having lost an eBay auction for it last year while winning the rest of the set. I also need most of the Russian Hussars and Bavarian line.

As with the other thread, I have all that I want. If you'd asked me a year ago, I would have been looking for the Russian Hussars and the Prussian Standard Bearer but I now have almost of the Hussars and the Flagbearer.

NAP0128 Russian Soumsky Hussar Officer. I have all the other Soumsky's and all the Akhtyrsky's...I have also the Prussian flag bearer. I was able to find those in France.

The quest is over! I just snatched on Ebay the Soumsky Officer NAP0128 I have been looking for a few years now. The price was also relatively reasonable...I have now the full set of FL Russian Soumsky and Akhtyrsky hussars. Patience is everything :)

If you are sill looking for the Soumsky NAP0133, it's still available from that same seller.

Very happy to hear this , indeed patience is everything Congratulations :salute::

I looked up the definition and synonyms for PATIENCE : Endurance, Fortitude, Long Suffering of pain or misfortune, calmness in annoying situations etc etc.....Definitely noble and even saintly virtues to posess in life but I did not think that this was an essential virtue in collecting toy soldiers especially flagbearers:salute::....So I guess it must be learned and cultivated......sounds good and reasonable :rolleyes2: :wink2:

Frank you need to GROW UP and LET GO :rolleyes2::rolleyes2:. I've added some CAPITAL LETTERS and some little ROLLEYES :rolleyes2: for ya so maybe you will understand.

Now please go bother someone else and let the adults talk, and for GODS sake try to be happy for a fellow collector who's happy to have found a piece for their collection.

Calm down Gebs ...I am happy for him....Really I am.......but I just wish he did not have to bear and endure the long waiting and difficulty in locating and searching for what he needed in his collection....There must be a better way....maybe someday. I'll not comment any longer....I'll let all the adults talk:rolleyes2:... you have my word....CARRY ON GOOD SIR :salute::

I’m missing two of the Russian hussars, the Tauride NCO,10 of the Bavarian line and the Wurttemberg flag bearer. Other than Retreat from Russia, the 45th Line and the French vignettes, I have the rest of Napoleon’s Europe.

Forgot to mention also that I was able to get the Bavarian flag bearer NAP0012 on Ebay France 4 months ago (sorry Zach :rolleyes2:)...Yes, that's the guy in the corner below. So yes, with patience, miracles do happen!:smile2:

I recently acquired one of the Hussars I was missing, 122, only to have it arrive in pieces :(

Fortunately, I received a full reimbursement and my friend is trying to put him back together. Hopefully, he will have better luck than all the King's Horses and all the King's men had with Humpty Dumpty.

I missed my opportunity on an Aeroart Carthaginian War Elephant at 2 different Toy Soldier Shows years ago at prices that would be considered a "steal" in today's market for these models. You never really know if the opportunity will ever again present itself or maybe some other manufacturer makes something comparable at the right price that you can be just as happy with.

Quote from Start Trek ("The Original Series):

Spock: Stonn, she is yours. After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true. ... T'Pau: [returning Spock's Vulcan salute] Live long and prosper, Spock.

Love that TV series!

:salute::
