Cheers Gebhard for the updates but it’s hardly anything to get excited about. Everyone knows that new releases are imminent; there’s been photos in Toy Soldier Collector for some time now but nothing as a new listing. First Legion’s efforts in 2020 have been a non-starter as far as I’m concerned, and it’s not great service. Other manufacturers have sustained releases despite the obvious pandemic effect; indeed I’m really looking forward to John Jenkins WW2 releases with huge excitement. That excitement is only normally retained for Matt and First Legion, but this year’s outputs have been poor. Repaints are becoming regular occurrences and look especially likely for the next releases, and that’s a real shame. I need some First Legion ‘shock and awe’ otherwise my (and others) frustration will increase, and I don’t believe I’m going to get any.
i hope the new releases come out tomorrow but being frank I’m actually losing interest, as Matt doesn’t appear in any rush to produce evidence of anything that has already been seen in Toy Soldier Collector and other distributors advertising.
By the way, I do love the new FrancoPrussian War stuff that’s being produced by another manufacturer, might purchase 1 or 2 of them as they appear well made.
