I am torn between WB AZW ambulance, first legion trebuchet and K&C german field hospital staff based on generation war mini series...

Hi zulu collector, I think you have definitely picked the three candidates which offer the best examples of " out of the box thinking". For me it's a toss up between the trebuchet and the AZW ambulance. I would go for the ambulance because if teamed with the outstanding AZW release of the royal artillery team in flight from isandhlwana it could make a great " flight along fugitives drift". I also think that an honorable mention is due for the Britains ACW 4 sets of confederates climbing over turnpike fences. I know these are not really new release announcements but they have only just hit the retail shelves after months of waiting, so it seems like a new release. AZW And ACW........ Two outstanding lines from Britains.

For me its the Collectors showcase Sturmtiger

For me, early in the year as it is, I say it's Tom Gunn's model of the Kissenberth Eindecker. It is a terrific airplane. -- Al

For me it is TG's French Foreign Legion series with Britains Eastern Woodlands in second place.

Yes, T. Gunn's French Foreign Legion series is a splendid series, but unfortunately for many collectors (and for T. Gunn :wink2:) not produced in enough quantity.
Not all collectors have the money available at the very time when new releases come out.
With the first FFL, if you had to wait for your next months pay check, you were pretty much out of the race, unless you were fine with a few leftovers.
Very strange policy and very disappointing.

Yes I wish I had got started on them myself but way too far behind and too hard to hunt them all down.Using my money on the woodland indians now anyway.Very nice range though.

My favorite releases so far this year would be First Legion's Alexander & companion cavalry & Figarti's winter Tiger I is right up there too. Also, Britains has a whole bunch of nice pieces in the pipeline. As many have selected, the forthcoming Indians look great, and I must have the WWI British soldier hanging on the barbed wire fence section. I haven't been this excited about Britains for a long time, and I think I will be diverting cash flow their way this year. I think this is already shaping up to be a great year for the hobby. Great thread!

There is an ad for it in Toy Soldier and Model Figure Magazine. It comes with crew, warriors and accessories (cattle driven wagon etc) sold separately

If anyone has it handy, can you take a photo of the ad and post it? I can't seem to find my issue that has it in it

Thanks so much
Zach
