Like the new BotB Germans and Panzer IV, but what next for Allied?

I think we will be getting some 'at rest' or marching figures.
Would like to see some firepower added, a winterised M8 or an M7 Priest. Or the Jeep but with Bazookas on it instead of an MG.
A building would be good.

I think it will be grey German prisoners of war next :wink2:

A white camouflaged KING TIGER with Zimmerit and all Panels opened so we can stuffed with TANK crews which we can purchase seperately {sm4}

We have already had this years Germans, was thinking of Allied?

would be great to have some small diorama groups of combat engineers, after all the paras got the glory but the combat engineers spilt the blood.

Personally, I would like to see some brit troops in winter clothing and some brit AFV's. Widen the battle as it was more about just German V US.

Suppose this would be too much to ask for so, winter clothed US troops sitting/ tank rider style which could be adapted for AFV's or foxholes.

As a "Bulge" collector it will be interesting to see what reinforcements the US forces will be getting (hopefully) next month - a M36 would be great, so would US Army engineers. I agree it would be also nice to see British forces as they were more heavily involved in the battle than generally realised - some of them wearing white snow suits. As for the Gemans, in addition to the recent releases, somewhere in the pipeline is the previously announced "winter" Jagdpanther. I would love to see K&C do some 150th Pz Brigade vehicles such as a Panther modified to look like an M10 (they did a disguised StuG many years ago, along with a jeep with Skorzeny commandos). Perhaps next year!

A winter white washed grey Hanomag could be on the agenda as well as another kubelwagen with canvas top and painted in white washed grey. I agree that some more Allied vehicles and troops would be good including some Brit's.

I know Andy keeps his own council on these things, but here are a few suggestions;

US M36 Gun Motor Carriage - the only 90mm gun on tracked chassis available at the time (those plus a few 90mm AAA were the biggest AT guns the US had available)

US M8 Armored Car - yes, K&C did one years ago in the DDay range, but a new one is overdue - perhaps with the fenders removed and fitted with tire chains, and lots of stowage. It should feature the gun ring as fitted to most M8s in the ETO. An OD one could be used for early in the battle, and Andy could provide alternate figures - Germans looking over a captured car (as in the famous sequence of photos near Poteau) or US troops manning the car in defense. In January some M8s got the white camo coloring for the counter offensive.

US engineers laying mines or preparing demolitions.

Some US walking wounded moving to the rear

US troops with a tripod-mounted .50 cal M2HB machinegun. We have had these on vehicles but K&C has never done one on the M3 tripod for ground use. A three or four man team would be appropriate for this big MG.

Some US troops replenishing ammo - pulling .30 cal. bandoleers out of a crate, opening crates of boxed MG ammo, opening a grenade crate, etc.

It's time for a new "deuce-and-a-half" - perhaps one with the winter canvas cab and the rear tarp fitted. This could be paired with the guys opening ammo boxes, etc.

For the UK 29th Armoured Brigade, he could redo the Sherman Firefly in winter dress, or produce a new Firefly 1C (the parts could be used also to create an M4 "composite" of the US 6th Armored Div. for the Normandy series).

Yes, a "winter" Hanomag 1/2 track would be good, but really it should be a late-war "D" rather than a straight repaint of the recent grey "C" version. Actually, as part of their Bulge range K&C did a very nice "D" mounting the 75mm PAK some years ago which they released at the same time as their JpPz IV.

I agree, the Winter "D" Pakwagen is one of my favourites and I wouldn't mind seeing this version as a troop carrying halftrack. Another halftrack we might see this year is a "Winterized" Demag. It would look awesome in a white washed grey.
