Congratulations Michael,

Looks like you won that game fair and square. I do love learning about other cultural delicacies.
Now what other game can we play instead of doing household jobs?

It seems to be a trend lately; threads wondering off in directions very much different than their intended topic. Maybe it’s the time of year:rolleyes: Maybe it’s a major sign of on set Alzheimer’s. Perhaps we should get back on topic…now lets see what were we discussing, oh yeah, where are my car keys, that’s what we were discussing, right? Please say yes, PLEASE:eek:

Yes we have deviated a little. So how about that AK 88MM and crew?.

Rob

Well, thats better Ron,at least he was on our side!

Rob

Guys

78's what are they i thought all music was on CD!!! you mean there was a different format all thoughs years ago!! WWooooow:D

I am surprised you guys know how to use a computer!!! :D :D that was a big joke!

Tony

I can use the computer ok,its just turning it off i have difficulty with!.

Can you imagine if Andy changed the name from Napoleonics to 'Defeated french guys'! The outrage would shock this forum to its core.Hey i just stood my Monty figure next to my Patton (like)figure. And they are getting on like a house on fire,well...like Pattons house that Monty has set on fire anyway.

I heard them talking like old friends:

Monty:"Hey George, your not a Egotistical, arrogant, reckless Gung Ho maniac at all"

Patton:"Bernie baby your not vain, arrogant, over cautious, difficult to work with and less popular than Goebbels either!

Together:LETS ROCK!!!

And they lived happily ever after in a big tent we won and the germans lost.

THE END

Rob

Rob, we used to have some interesting discussions about Monty and Patton on the "World War Two Politics and Command" thread under the Historical Discussion section.

Here's a little ditty a few of us composed, to be sung in rhyme to the "Lumberjack Song" from Monty Python.

From the top again everybody :D

I'm a general and I'm okay, I sleep all night, and I brag all day,

I hold press conferences, I take all credit, I blame everybody but me,

On Wednesdays I go yachting, and have the Prime Minister to Tea.

On Thursdays I go hunting, and shoot Montgomery.

I'm a General and I'm okay, I pray all night, and I kill all day.

I dress in fancy outfits, I slap sick grunts, I swear fluently.

I've got ivory handled pistols, but they look butch to me.

My voice is like a girlie, not like George C Scott's, tee hee.

Thats very good Oz,i like it.I miss the Pythons You know.I also enjoyed the conversations on the Historical thread, although i fear now they would explode in insults and become the Hysterical thread. And i am a peace loving Forumite. All the best

Rob.

Did my eyes deceive me or did we.....beat you at a Cricket competion, has the whole world turned upside down and no longer makes sense?!!!

Rob, look into my eyes, not around my eyes......repeat after me: "England lost all their cricket games against Australia, which is how it should be" :D

This would be my choice for a limited edition. M4 High Speed Tractor towing the Long Tom.
