What Toy Soldier items Have You Acquired in The Last 2 Weeks ? (4 Viewers)

A nice package just arrived from Treefrog :smile2:

Here’s what was in it.
From JJD’s “Conquest Of America” line, the sets AZ-08 and AZ-09 Cuachicqueh Warriors and from First Legion’s “Thirty Years War” line, the set TYW006 Polish Winged Hussar Kettle Drummer.
All of them beautiful figures.
Very happy with collecting these two lines :wink2:

Re: Red Tinplate Monster to Halbersadt DII (via DIII) B

Before painting I discovered the only Saxon Ace I knew for certain had flown a Halberstadt was Hartmuth Baldamus who appears to have used a Halberstadt DII (AV) made by Aviatic during Oct / Nov 1916, which meant a slight modification to the exhaust system. This is now the finished result together with my Toy Soldier figure of Baldam

The other Red Monster is currently in bits awaiting a more ambitious transformation or the trash can

They look ok,,better then the usual Hobby lob types,,should be a good conversion,,hope you had the 40% coupon

K&C BBG021 & IF009 Semovente M40-75/18

Had the chance to bought this 2 little gems from a collector
The Jagdpanzer IV I can use for my Normandy stuff, because early L/48 variant and Zimmerit was used from 1. /SS Panzerjäger-Abteilung 12 and the colour is also useable for Normandy. Figurine ist from WS223-2 Panzerkommandanten.
The Semovente M40-75/18 Regio Esercito, 132. Divisione Corazzata "Ariete", 132º Reggimento artiglieria is also a little beauty.

The JJ jag came in the mail this week and I can't believe I almost missed the the boat on this one.
I know it's been talked about but this is one fine model.
From the hatches opening to the barrel and Mg moving.
It is a step above and has to raise the bar on the hobby as a whole.IMG_2096.JPG

I had some more 28mm Spanish done for Cuba and the Philippines.

Guess I had a very nice surprise this morning as the post was delivered....The sets Obee applied his magic finally arrived....
The parcel was nicely packed so all sets came in great shape.
These are some pics of them...They cover the WW1, British Army in the Middle East during the early 20 ´s and Victorian Northwestern Frontier motifs....
They are mainly Stadden sets ( as it relates to the Victorian period ) and Scale Link and others for the WW1 sets and British Army in the Middle East...All with a heavy amount of great skill applied by Obee so as to adapt the sets to picture actual period situations.....
Later on, as they get incorporated to the collection and I have some free time I will be setting them up in the appropriate dios....
Hope you will enjoy.
In some cases we selcted period pictures and tried to convert existing sets to match them...
