Guess I had a very nice surprise this morning as the post was delivered....The sets Obee applied his magic finally arrived....
The parcel was nicely packed so all sets came in great shape.
These are some pics of them...They cover the WW1, British Army in the Middle East during the early 20 ´s and Victorian Northwestern Frontier motifs....
They are mainly Stadden sets ( as it relates to the Victorian period ) and Scale Link and others for the WW1 sets and British Army in the Middle East...All with a heavy amount of great skill applied by Obee so as to adapt the sets to picture actual period situations.....
Later on, as they get incorporated to the collection and I have some free time I will be setting them up in the appropriate dios....
Hope you will enjoy.

Thanks for your comments, yes, this was very 'intriguing' piece of equipment to make. I saw the pictures on the Imperial War Museum website, and used the 18 Pounder Limber Luiz suppled to then modify.

The kit was assembled then into the draw bar I drilled holes and glued wire to make the rungs, like a ladder.
A seat, from a Mountford 40mm Bofors gun was then added for the Observer.
A piece of plastic sheeting was cut to match the size of the shield, bent and attached.
The Observation officer was a Scale Link seated driver with tropical helmet head, but when he was seated on to of the limber it tipped over.
A shirt sleeved soldier (Scale Link) was positioned on the box, and his arms, from spares are holding a rangefinder, just like the photo.
The solution was to add some stabilizers from spare parts (wheel spokes) and then it now stands up to call in a fire mission on the flat desert terrain somewhere in the Middle East.

The rest of the OP party are Scale Link figures, including a semaphore signaller, and telephone signaler, as well as a couple of officers.

Glad you liked them,

John

Added the rest of the Israeli Paras I’m missing. Getting to be a nice sized collection of IDF

I just picked up a long sought after Trophy WWI set: the Gaudy Gun. Now I only need the third of the WWI Buses (the grey one) and the Motor Ambulance to complete my Trophy WWI collection of the "big sets".

When were pieces like this produced? Nice sets

Check out the Trophy WWI Thread to see pretty much all of the big sets, which are absolutely spectacular. Here are some photos of my Trophy WWI display. I remember these sets being produced in the 1990's. The resident trophy expert is Martyn (GICOP).^&cool^&cool He is really helpful and nice, and can give you much more accurate information about Trophy production (and he usually provides the relevant pages from the Trophy catalogue when he answers your questions.
