What Toy Soldier items Have You Acquired in The Last 2 Weeks ? (1 Viewer)

AC

Hello my friend!!! Just adore your collection of WW1 soft skinned vehicles- they look SPECTACULAR!! Thanks for sharing!!

None in the last two weeks, but within the next two weeks I hope to win all 8 lots I've bid on in the Old Toy Soldier auction which begins October 11.

A little longer than two weeks. Lets say September..
Bunch of old and new.
Old K&C Egypt opening of the mouth and the slave selling set, and a Del Prado statue Matt @ Hobby Bunker had at the show for the shelf.
Fury from K&C, WarPark Motorcycle. K&C Japanese Val and a few older figs from Thomas Gunn, First Legion.

I met a gentleman who makes custom modified "Dimestore" figures, as well as tinplate vehicles and dioramas to go with his modified Dimestore figures. I just bought this wonderful 1914 French Staff Car and Trench Diorama:

No thank you. I just have a spot for WW1 in gloss. I don’t believe any other time period looks as good in that paint. And after all I am supposedly on a break from buying toy soldiers:)

Gorgeous sets, Louis. The early war French uniforms are my favorite. That staff car is beyond fantastic. -- Al

The French Uniforms from the Crimean War through 1914 (many of which were copied by U.S. Civil War Regiments) are my favorites too. I love the red pants and kepis, and, especially, the exotic Zouave, Spahi and Chasseur Uniforms.:salute::

I picked up this cool 28mm Franco Prussian War diorama, which I intend to display with a real Franco Prussian War uniform, an antique Steiff doll of a Franco Prussian War infantryman and some First Legion Franco Prussian War infantry:

Hi Louis

When are we going to see a vignette/diorama with the new French Dimestore figures and car with a HECO Bleriot

Just got my H&A Normandy Barn in. What a great piece. I can't wait to put a scene together.

Witin the past week I collected this Panzer IV made by War Park #AX001 along with a tank crew figure KH081 . . . I photographed this on a backdrop/drape of red felt to make the model standout in the photo.
:smile2: Mike
