After a visit to the Sergeant Majors and a chat about nothing meaningfull with a couple of fellow retrobates:rolleyes2::wink2: I returned to my man cave with these new items including my first TG figures (very nice too).

Yes mate, but have just now added three sets of DD British infantry (a tank is lonely without infantry) to my wish list which never seems to get any shorter (but as max says 'and loving it').Nice acquisitions mate, well done! The Cromwell Tank is nice huh.

Apart from being a really good looking tank the price you paid was really very reasonable. I stayed away from vehicles because I thought the cost would be prohibitive but it was a good buy.

Considering the era of your interest, horses, donkeys and wagons are fuel and cost efficient.{sm4}{sm3}^&grin:wink2:

To true mate but Jack will need lot's of them to fill up all those display cabinets while our tanks use up all the room, hence the need to buy to many of them... Well that's the theory anyway but it doesn't seem to work out that way! What Jack will need is lots of bales of hay to feed all his horses and donkeys... ^&grin

Picked these two old kits up last weekend at an automotive swap meet. Two more old kits to save.
Metal Modeles Grenadier A Pied La Garde 1809 and New Hope Designs US Infantry Private 1918.
The New Hope will go with my other Great War New Hopes. He also is equipped with the Winchester 1897 shotgun used in the trenches very late in the war, so a good figure to find.
Have never painted a Metal Modeles, but another Napoleonic can’t be a bad thing!
Best of all the price- the cost of one large coffee each- you can’t beat that!
