For my 70th Birthday, my dear wife and grown children presented me with the following new figures for my dioramas:

1. Britains War on the Nile Mounted Camel Corp Bugler, and a Madhist lunging with a spear for my Sudan diorama.
2. Britains Confederates in Frock Coats (a drummer boy and two firing) for my Fredericksburg diorama.
3. King & Country Navy (Sailor Marching at Right shoulder arms, Sailor at Port Arms) for my China diorama.
4. Some of Britains latest Civil War Union turbaned Zouave releases for July delivery, for my Civil War Wilderness type battle diorama.
5. Framed original Nathaniel Currier and Currier & Ives folio prints from 1845/46 and late 1800s on the following: General Israel Putnam (AWI), General Andrew Jackson (War of 1812), General Zackory Taylor (Mexican War), and General Winfield Scott (reviewing West Point cadets...pre Civil War).

I was really surprised. A day definitely to remember. {sm4}

Now that I finally learned how to post my own photos (to the great relief of good friends Brad (Jazzeum) and Terry (Phantom Warrior)), I can't resist posting some shots of my newest CJB Models, purchased at the London Show:

First the Beaverette Armored Car, Morris 8hp Radio Car, and Artillery Battery Staff Car:

Just unboxed - finally managed to get this piece.... BNIB and never displayed {sm3}

3 machine guns, 3 crews and 1 vehicle and lots of interior details and stuff - I doubt KnC would make such sets anymore for the price of US$155.

Just found a Conte ACW57171 Confederate Dead Set, which I have been looking for sometime now. One of the few sets I was missing.

I finally got to unwrap these and set them up. Thanks to Brad for all his help with acquiring this set. I'll let him tell you about the specifics. The level of painting exceeded my expectations.

I'm not sure who was selling the loose Zulus, there were a few loose Mexican American/Alamo and also some boxed ACW sets

If you make it to the Xmas Show I'll catch you there :salute::
