For my 70th Birthday, my dear wife and grown children presented me with the following new figures for my dioramas:
1. Britains War on the Nile Mounted Camel Corp Bugler, and a Madhist lunging with a spear for my Sudan diorama.
2. Britains Confederates in Frock Coats (a drummer boy and two firing) for my Fredericksburg diorama.
3. King & Country Navy (Sailor Marching at Right shoulder arms, Sailor at Port Arms) for my China diorama.
4. Some of Britains latest Civil War Union turbaned Zouave releases for July delivery, for my Civil War Wilderness type battle diorama.
5. Framed original Nathaniel Currier and Currier & Ives folio prints from 1845/46 and late 1800s on the following: General Israel Putnam (AWI), General Andrew Jackson (War of 1812), General Zackory Taylor (Mexican War), and General Winfield Scott (reviewing West Point cadets...pre Civil War).
I was really surprised. A day definitely to remember. {sm4}
