What Toy Soldier items Have You Acquired in The Last 2 Weeks ? (3 Viewers)

Not sure if this fits in this thread but I just received two sets of wagon wheel from Ken Alfred in Idaho. They look good and are the right scale. It only cost $7.35 for postage, which is a very refreshing change. I've included a model soldier in the shot to show the comparative size of the wheels. Now I can start to build ox carts.

Got my first figures in today from the SYW Prussian Infantrie Regiment Braunschweig Bevern.
Here are some pics, showing an Officer and the two Flagbearers.
Great figures and the flags are particularly nice.

Happy Collecting!

Every now and then, one makes a "lucky" find when browsing the ebay Toy Soldiers section, and last saturday was my turn ^&grin
I placed a "best offer" of $71.00 (+$9.00 shipping) for the glossy Frontline Set A.W.10 U.S. Memphis Belle, B-17 Crew "The Last Mission", and the seller considered it sold ^&grin
The originally asked "buy it now" price of $100.00 was a generous offer already, but the promotional photos didn't really bring out all the best of the set.
So, I just thought, that I use the "best offer" option and I couldn't do anything wrong with paying $8.00 per a glossy painted figure in pristine condition.

When receiving the set yesterday, I was very, very surprised about the high quality and charming appearance of these glossy figures.
Frontline surely did a master job with them.

Here's a photo of the set, and if you want to see more detailed shots, check out my "B-17 Crew" thread in the glossy section of the forum under "other manufacturer".

Cheers and Happy Collecting!

Just picked up the CS Tiger - my first WW 2 armour. Very impressed with it although I am not good with figuring out where the hatches go! A really nice piece.

Ok, im still sceptical, a CS marketing pic doesn't prove you got one, how about a pic with you holding the tank!!! ^&grin

Yesterday two new Zulus arrived from Michigan Toy Store. These two were released in 2009 by Britains. I am still really short of Zulus for my Rorke's Drift display but I guess they will build up over time. I like these two as they aren't as ornately costumed as most of the figures are and are definitely in attack mode.
