What was the Delhi Durbar 1903? (1 Viewer)

Wow - that would be amazing to have.
Out of my budget too though 😀

Now that’s an amazing guest list! Recognize many of the names of future generals!

I have wondered that as well they are quite unique items and would only appeal to very select group of collectors.

I forgot to mention here that I already chose which the new elephant will be, and I'm working on it full speed. I'm thinking of having it ready by the beginning of October.
These are the new sets to be released then:

The State Elephant of Maler Kotla

Everything is beautiful about it: the elephant clothes pattern, the elephant's face painting, the head ornaments, the necklace. The maharaja has such great personality, and the guys at the back with the ornamental maces and the whisk are unique. Even the mahout is superb.

It is turning so beautiful that I can't wait to begin with the painting.

The set will come with 3 more sets as usual: the 2 escort guards groups and the music band. Even the guards are awesome :)

There will be two more sets to the Maler Kotla group:

One group will be carrying the parasol and the signs, and the other group will be carrying the ceremonial maces and the crazy spears with 2 sharp points. Aren't they unique?

I'll be posting photos of the process soon. As well as more pages from The Sphere.

Be well,

Ana

I found a copy of his speech it’s an interesting read. I will scan and post it here if anyone is interested.
