What would collectors like to see from W. Britain in the future. (1 Viewer)

Hi Ken

I would very much like to see Diorama Bases for both Rorke's Drift & Isandlwana

It would be a large project but I am sure that these would be very popular amongst the AZW Collector's out there.

The bases could be offered one every 6 months, maybe even 6 or more bases to form the Complete Diorama itself

Maybe a Buffalo River (Mzinyathi), a Pontoon, Or a Magnificent Isandlwana Mountain..... :)

Zulu Dawn

I must admit a new Gatling Gun or more likely a 5 barrel Gardner Gun would be nice for the WAN range.
And wounded Y&L / Camel Corp

I have to agree with you with the Gardner gunn and more Y&L , I would also like Royal Artillery 9-pdrs and RMLI for the WAN range

Kev

I am a big fan of the WB ACW and Zulu War ranges.

As far as a new range, I would like to see a Roman Gladiator range. I don't think anyone covers this subject currently do they?

Would love to see some FIW
soldiers in Clash of Empires range.

They are coming Mark... A few are already finished and we will release them as a group.

Never had a doubt my man,never a doubt.^&grin^&grin^&grin:rolleyes2:

still for the FIW or American Independence periods I'd like to see a Blockhouse with some pieces of stockade. The skill of Ken for historic related buildings and accessories would be express in all its power!!

Garrison Cannons similar to the Cannon in 17519, but "fatter" to upgrade the gun size. The 17519 scales at 60 MM to a 12-pounder, 8.25 foot length (3.3 inches from muzzle to Base Ring, do not include the Cascable or Button). Barrel diameter at the Vent was a very good match for the 12-pounder. It is a wonderfully done piece. I would sell the cannons as a single pieces. You could add more detail to the gun if desired, but I do like the 17519 cannon. No manufacturer is offering a garrison cannon (Ship Cannon, Pirate Cannon, Fort Cannon). Gun carriage in the 17519 is very nice, so I would keep that element, just "fatten" as needed.

I would lean towards offering a 32-Pounder and the 18-pounder.

Barrel from Muzzle to Base Ring (60MM Scale); Vent Diameter at 60MM Scale (inches);

4 pdr. 2.2 - 2.4 inch Barrel, Barrel Diameter at Vent 0.37 inches.
6 pdr. 2.4 - 3.6; 0.43
9 pdr. 3.2 - 3.6; 0.49
12 pdr. 3.2 - 3.6; 0.54
18 pdr. 3.6 - 3.8; 0.62
24 pdr. 3.6 - 4.0; 0.68
32 Pdr. 3.8 - 4.0; 0.75

Just keep the proportions the same as in 17519, with the diameter of the barrel at the vent changing. I would vary the barrel lengths. Base Ring from Table below might be helpful as it the widest dimension to compare.

I have no idea if this will work, but going to try ....... rivet counter information for 7 guns from a 4 pounder to a 32 pounder.

The forum does not seem to like Excel Tabs, so awkward table below - but dimension at 60 MM Scale (4 inches = 10 feet). From Muzzle Moving Backward.

If you want a clean table in Excel, send me a PM.

Added the base ring, "fattest" dimension at rear of cannon for comparison.

After seeing how good the new Zulu war mounted solders are I would love to see a mounted edition to the WAN series. Maybe a 19th Hussar from the Battle of Abu Klea.
Cheers Paul

So would I!....but really need a handful of Mahdist casualties first!

Have to agree with the above WAN suggestions especially casualties and the Royal Marines. Maybe a bit premature but would love to see a Saxon village for the forthcoming Vikings.

I would also like to see the other British company commanders at Isandhlwana.

A figure of Lt. Scott, Natal Carabineers, who died with Durnford at Isandhlwana would be a great addition.

At the risk of being obnoxiously redundant......AWI Hessians, American artillery, mounted officers and colonials in hunting shirts!!!!!

I can promise at least something from your list this fall!

I'll second this request. I'd also like to see some Natal Native Horse in action mounted and dismounted.
