LOL. This question has only one answer for me: MAKE EVERYTHING FLOWN IN COMBAT IN WW1. -- Al
A Gotha would be awsome
I would get one for sure to go with the others i have
Each to his own. Not selfish at all, but you will be disappointed as John is quite committed to producing more aircraft and from several wars, at that. He has planes from 3 conflicts and plans to continue expanding the offerings, which to me is great news, as his planes are the best on the market. This info is from JJD itself. -- AlAt the risk of being selfish (but then this is a place to state what one would like or desire) I'm afraid I have to say the opposite. As John is but one chap with only one pair of hands and I so admire his inventive, intelligent and characterful figure work, I would prefer to see no more planes at all as they can mean only one thing - he's designing those rather than more wonderful sets of figures.
Sorry 'bout that, but that's what I'd rather see - and the question was asked.
I'd like to see some of the earlier 1914 period monoplanes when the combatants were still figuring out how to use this new technology, maybe an Etrich Taube?

Maybe the Taube of Gunther Pluschow, the "Dragon Pilot" of Germany's Far East colony at Tsingtao would be a good subject matter. It would be a highly unusual, but cool, choice. -- AlI'd like to see some of the earlier 1914 period monoplanes when the combatants were still figuring out how to use this new technology, maybe an Etrich Taube with the pilot waving his handgun at an enemy or dropping grenades over the side?

The Taube as rendered on the Prussian pilot badge:View attachment 83782
Very Nice! I've been trying to find an original of this badge for some time. My 'primary' hobby is collecting insignia with WW1 aviators badges being one of my areas of interest, mainly Australian Flying Corps, but I've also got some original RFC, French and US pilot's badges in my collection. Thanks for sharing the pic
Jules
I imagine it would infringe copyright but I'd like to see a 'Biggles' release, though I can't think what he flew at the moment??
