LOL. This question has only one answer for me: MAKE EVERYTHING FLOWN IN COMBAT IN WW1. :D:D:D -- Al

At the risk of being selfish (but then this is a place to state what one would like or desire) I'm afraid I have to say the opposite. As John is but one chap with only one pair of hands and I so admire his inventive, intelligent and characterful figure work, I would prefer to see no more planes at all as they can mean only one thing - he's designing those rather than more wonderful sets of figures.

Sorry 'bout that, but that's what I'd rather see - and the question was asked.

A Gotha would be awsome
I would get one for sure to go with the others i have

Well, I think you don't have to worry about planes taking away from John's figure sculpting. The process in which the figures are sculpted does not take away from other projects. In fact he works on a lot of projects so all his ranges get covered throughout the year. I think we just saw a lot of really good stuff come out the end of last year and the stuff we got glimpses of at the end of the year shows are going to be coming out in the first quarter of this year.

I still want a pusher plane. And I want more Rangers for FIW and I want..... Well the list goes on deeper than my bank account, so I'm glad for the change up.

Each to his own. Not selfish at all, but you will be disappointed as John is quite committed to producing more aircraft and from several wars, at that. He has planes from 3 conflicts and plans to continue expanding the offerings, which to me is great news, as his planes are the best on the market. This info is from JJD itself. -- Al

I'd like to see some of the earlier 1914 period monoplanes when the combatants were still figuring out how to use this new technology, maybe an Etrich Taube with the pilot waving his handgun at an enemy or dropping grenades over the side?

Maybe the Taube of Gunther Pluschow, the "Dragon Pilot" of Germany's Far East colony at Tsingtao would be a good subject matter. It would be a highly unusual, but cool, choice. -- Al

Oh yeah!!!! You got me there

The SPAD would be my first choice. And a two seat Rumpler. No one has done a two seater yet and I don't think it would much larger than the current aircraft models. Chris.

I would love to see this - I have seen the Metal Shed version, and it is a really spectacular aircraft.^&cool

I imagine it would infringe copyright but I'd like to see a 'Biggles' release, though I can't think what he flew at the moment??

I've expressed my wish list a few times but it would include Rickenbacker's SPAD, an eindecker, and maybe a Austro-Hungarian plane (Pfaltz?). I find anything from this era to be unique though. It must have been quite an experience to go from having no planes in the early 1900's to fighting it out in the skies over Europe just a few year later in one of these babies.

The Taube as rendered on the Prussian pilot badge:View attachment 83782

Very Nice! I've been trying to find an original of this badge for some time. My 'primary' hobby is collecting insignia with WW1 aviators badges being one of my areas of interest, mainly Australian Flying Corps, but I've also got some original RFC, French and US pilot's badges in my collection. Thanks for sharing the pic

Just sent you a PM about pilot badges...

As a Biggles fan from way back, I think he flew everything (I think he started in the FE 2 though) although he ended up in Camels.

Does anyone remember the awful Biggles movie from the 80s which mixed his story with a third rate science fiction tale about time travel?
