well, they do say you can never have enough tigers and, I suppose its right. The new K&C early version Tiger can be used in a number of other ways than just the grey and the winter white versions released.

This version based on AFV's from the sPz.- Abt. 503. in the April and may of 1943 when they were undertaking operational exercises prior to Zitadelle. They retained the Panzer III rommelkiste though some were changed prior to the operations and, some were given a green camo colour also.

Its been said many times about the mud on the tracks being a negative but, as one can see its easily blended into the tank. The detail of these Tigers is very good contrary to some comments lately and, for me when details like the rear air vents are correctly painted they look as good as the ones which, have been fitted with photo etch. The detail is there on these models and, IMO is as good as any on the market at this time.

I suppose its time to maybe draw a line under the early version and address the later variants as all have been since 2007 based on early versions. Mind, I would like to see an early prototype based on what became the Ferdinand or elefant chassis but, time maybe to look at steel wheeled full zimmerit versions

I think Tigers since the Tunisian Tiger have been the best Tiger models available. I too would like to see the "missing" Tiger -- a true late model with steel wheels and zimmerit.

Hi Guys,

Well done Mitch your “241” looks great…. As I’ve said many times before… I’m happy and proud to see the “conversion” works some collectors do with their K&C fighting vehicles and occasionally figures. It’s all part of the rich tapestry of collecting…

That being said, and being a wee bit biased, I’m still very partial to the originals!

Best wishes and happy collecting!

Andy...

Thanks for that. Its expected that you would hold bias towards your own designs they are as I think I have said very good models.

Now, lets have some later variants and a sturmtiger while your next drawing!!
