Where are NEW CONTE CIVIL WAR Figures ?? (3 Viewers)

Does anyone actually know for sure when these are coming out and are they up for pre order?

I have called and emailed Conte with no response. I am certainly wanting these figures but I also want to be treated as a customer should be.

I contacted another manufacturer (not just a dealer) this last Thursday and they responded within 24 hours, so I know it can be done.

I was called by Mr. Conte himself; I now live and work in the same area the company chose for relocation. I was told they expect to have Zouaves in just a few weeks. I have eagerly awaited these for a long time.

Did you leave a MSG on thier Machine ? All calls are monitored. I called today to inquire about an order and they stated they had no record of calls from your state.

After looking at the pictures on eBay I can honestly say that these figures do nothing for me. I do like the flag though. I think I must still have a bad taste in my mouth after the SOS debacle.

For those who've subscribe to his news letter which he announced earlier this month on his web site UPDATE 1 was sent off last night which provides and answer to your post. The first seven sets are due to arrive in NC on the 25th at which time they'll begin shipping to his dealers and customers who have preorder sets as well as to customers who've order them via ebay. The figures shown are from sample of the production run RC received in limited quanties for his approval. A Second email followed this providing special pricing and photos.They'll be another Conte EMAIL BLAST featuring photos and pricing of the additional sets. You may want to vist Joe Bakers BLOG on Conte's web site and subscribe to receive the updates as they become available.

I knew you had none Rob and have no doubts about him returning to plastics. Although you ask for it in plastic to paint if I'm not mistaaken you'll have the Flying Zulu to paint in metal that Conte's providing painted in red when it becomes available. It'll give you something to look forward to until the plastics make the scene.

Returned, yes. With excellent looking product, sure. Big time? That is a matter of opinion. A lot of metal companies are considerably more prolific with a lot less drama or hype.
