I really like FL, used to collect, but just got too expensive for me, the Battle of the Bulge is the best stuff out there, head and shoulders above everyone else [in my opinion], i stopped myself from collecting because of the price, close too or £80 a figure.
I seem to remember that FL were never on a par with K & C, JJD and TGM for amount and consistancy of releases, but it has slowed to a halt. Think people are scaremongering a bit to say they could be going the way of others such as Conte, but it is human nature. In my opinion they are probably struggling, sale showed that [i know a few dealers who were p***ed off wit it as they were not informed prior to the sale]. Plus new releases are the lifeblood of a TS company, without i think sales take a big hit.
I thought they would have fallen back on established series and produced new stuff for those series, as buyers are more likely to add on than start a new reange, especially at FL prices. As JJD, TGM and K & C seem to be trying to cover every period between them, FL bought out Zulu War range and that flopped. However, new WW2 Germans, ACW, etc
The UK representative has not been at the last 2 London Shows, there is no one at the show selling FL.
Only time will tell ofcourse, hope for the best as they are excellent figures and i always like to have a look at them even thou i do not collect.
