Did you purchase a Figarti plane? Which one and why? Which are limited editions?

I really like P-38J named Marge, while I also like Rudel's Tank Buster JU-87 Stuka and the Stuka line in general. I haven't seen any of these in person.

I haven't bought one YET, so advice is welcome.

Thanks,

Jason

Welcome aboard Jason, mate i have all 3 STUKA,s waiting upon the release of the 4th to add to my collection and they are all superb,
but saying that the BOB and winter are my favorites.
A few problem's with how the wheels are attached but with a simple addition of a metal post and some hole in the STUKA its all sorted, check out the link.

I also have the Ostfront BF 100 and its a beaut, may i also add the TGM 190 is a great plane to.
Why you have the chance mate may i suggest you grab the new V1 from figarti as its another great set of there,s.
Im a big fan of FIGARTI i have most of there German vehicles and im in the process of purchasing the Karl Morser can't wait to see it don't give up in your hunt one will turn up.

I have owned the Me 110 winter and still own the Owl I have seen in person two stuka versions Rudel's Tank buster and the BOB version the P38 in silver and from that nothing they have done has come close to the Owl. I would recommend tracking one down first before every other release. there are a few issues with each and every other release but, the Owl was free from any issues that have bothered myself or other collectors from magnets to being able to leave finger marks on the paintwork of aircraft.

Depends at the end of the day what you like which is more important than what others dislike. Things that bother some collectors do not bother others but, its good to get all opinions before parting with a big portion of cash only to be disappointed. forewarned is, as they say, forearmed.

Welcome to the forum Jason, good to have you with us.

Although I have not purchased any of Figarti's aircraft myself I've seen and handled all of them at the London shows and they are all superb, can't say anything bad about any of them to be honest. If I had to choose it would be between the Stuka that is just a sublime release from Figarti and does great justice to this legendary dive bomber and the yet to be released Mosquito that is just something to behold, awesome release and could be the best yet. All depends on what floats your particular boat, but the good thing with Figarti aircraft is whichever you buy you can't really lose!

Get the P-38 Marge.. its excellent and still available....If they make the European Version "California Cutie" P-38 I would buy it for sure....Can't go wrong with the Stukas as well....Figarti Rules The Air.:salute::

I own some Figarti aircraft, and have handled all of them at various shows, but have seen none better than the De Haviland Mosquito whose prototype was displayed at the June London Toy Soldier Show. If you live in Great Britain, Clive Gande ("Lurchio" on this forum) of Grey Goose Collectibles has both prototypes in his display area where I am sure you can make an appointment to view them in person.

Hi Jason,

Here is a list of my favorites all of which I have except for the prototype Mosquitoes and some of the Stuka multiple releases.

1). Both of the Mosquito versions
2). B-17 Memphis Belle
3). P-38/Owl/Winter Me-110/Stukas (too close to call with these four+ so a tie)
4). Both P-40 versions
5). Winter Storch

Happy Hunting,
Marc

I own or have owned all Figarti planes to date except for the B17 and the new Wildcat. The Ostfront BF110 is by far my favorite. No other plane comes close to this beauty IMO.

I just got my P-38. This thing is spectacular! It's worth the cost even if just to get those snazzy white gloves that come with it!!!!!
