Can’t say how happy I am, but I’ll be heading to Chicago for the first time! I plan to arrive on Thursday, the 25th, around noon, and I’ll be leaving on Sunday at noon too. I wasn’t able to get a room at the Hyatt where the show takes place (they are fully booked), but will stay at the neighboring Hyatt Place. Hope to get to meet you all there!

This one will be touch and go for me, i haven't missed a show since 1995 but my daughter is a senior in high school and it is homecoming week. I am hoping at the least to drive up the 3 hrs and spend 6 hrs there and then go back to iowa. I am going to miss the run on all those trophy sets i am sure will show up. Hopefully i will get to run into some of you characters

i am glad you brought up the fallschirmjager. But make sure they are normandy fj's with the correct camo patterns. Seriously though i have to find a way to make an appearence. I actually have 4 days off from work this year and my mother is not having emergency surgery so i thought this is the year i get to go and actually hang out and party it up but if my daughters in the homecomig court well it might make things difficult. If you see a red lancer of hamburg trumpet major in yellow and red , pick it up for me. Thanks

Hello Everyone. Just wanted to advise any interested parties that I will not have a room again at the hotel this year ,but I will be in my usual position in the hallway the day of the show. This will be my 32nd OTSN! My house is only about a 30 minute drive from the hotel. My basement has been converted for the last 14 years into a museum/showroom featuring mostly WW11 King & Country. I also feature very nice diaramas compliments of Marcus Thorsen that many of you are aware of. I will have a few of his diaramas on my tables during the show on sunday.
