Hi Guys,

Here is a small part of a larger ‘Work in Progress’... The scene is set at a small Vietnamese house near one of the main roads.

A Marine patrol has just captured a lone V.C. after a little ‘firefight’ near the house.

Unfortunately some civilians have been caught in the crossfire and the Navy Corpsman is tending their wounds... Fortunately no one was killed.

I just finished this typical Vietnamese house yesterday... Later you will see it in its actual setting on another 21” x 21” dio.

The Palm Trees in the background will be available soon in a set of two different sized trees.

The house looks great as does the great looking Palm trees Andy, they'll fit in very well and add extra detail with several ranges Vietnam, USMC, LofJ, Romans, Crusaders, WW1 & WW2, IDF and there's probably a couple I've missed out there too !

Any idea for us as to when these trees will be released and roughly how much ?

Hoping we'll be seeing the Vietnamese girl carrying the balanced load and the other girls on their Scooters released next month ?

Many thanks Guys for your appreciative comments and also thanks to Toddy for noticing the ‘different shaded timber’... Over the years living and working in Asia I’ve been fortunate to visit some of the rural areas of Thailand, The Philippines, India and, of course, Vietnam.

In many of these places much use is made of recycled timber from many older wooden buildings, hence the ‘patchwork quilt’ effect of a lot of dwellings...I like it and I've been wanting to try out the effect for a while and waiting for the right project.

As for the ‘stairs’...those took me a couple of hours but I think they are worth the effort!
