A proud and confident fighter pilot strolls across the airfield in the early morning as a crewman kneels in the snow around a fire while cooking breakfast. A BF 109 of JG 54 (21st C.) in background begins to fire up the engine. Snow has fallen overnight and made things a little difficult in getting ready for the day's mission.

Very nice!! I especially like the bottom one. It has a nice angle, and the color tone makes it look very cold (but still with a very interesting sky).

Did it actully snow at your house? Lol top job with the snow you made it look very realistic! Excellent group of photos.

Great dio and pictures. It's fun to see different sets and maker's parts work so well together.

Nice diorama, I'm not an avid Luftwaffe collector however I had to have that figure, its my favourite from that series along with the new Me-109. ^&cool

Thanks, I tried to make the pictures as if it was getting later and later in the morning, so the last one would basically be around sunrise.

Nice Duke hopefully a winter 109 isn't far away.

Thanks and I hope a winter 109 or STUKA might be in the works at K&C.^&grin

Mitch

Thanks for that Mitch. I was trying to come up with a second figure to go with the Luft pilot, and the kneeling tanker with the coffee pot from the Winter Tiger set came to mind.

Great dio and pictures. It's fun to see different sets and maker's parts work so well together.
