Working on my new BoB dio . Wanted to show you some pics of where I am today .
The railway embankment is finished including the bridge. A few German troops have already been completely repainted ( more to come). Positioning them on the dio before fixing them permanently. Also wanted to show only one of the details you will find in the dio .Have to start the repaint of the US troops, put the railway tracks in and the German railway carriage( already fully painted) make a winter tree , put more winter vegetation in place and add lots more detail in the dio which I hope will be ready for Xmas. Will show more pics later

Very, very promising, looks like another masterpiece of yours in the making Guy! Can`t wait to see it finished….

One thing is for sure Guy, you certainly make the most of this hobby. You are very fortunate to be so handy with the brush. Your projects always are excellent. Robin.

Slowly getting there bit by bit; I am adding a few pics. I also add a picture of the repaint I did on the figures . Hopefully made them "P" quality

Outstanding and a joy to view:salute:: Looking forward to seeing the completed project.{sm3}

In a dio every square cm has to tell a story. I add a few pictures. The picture from yesterday and the pictures of today showing the same area on my dio
compare and enjoy

Cannot work out whether you have removed the figure's base, if not it blends so well with the footpath. I could not get up the nerve to take take of figure's supports as I find they fall over often enough already if not on absolutely on a flat surface, more power to you if it has been removed. :salute::Robin.

Robin, The figure base has been removed . The figurine is 100% in balance without its base + a little bit of super glue helps as well.I do not remove the support when I can camouflage it completely under the snow or with some earth.

Amazing Guy, I thought this was the case as I have seen other diorama's of yours where the figures are free standing. Do you put the bases back on at some later stage or do they stay this way? Have mixed emotions about tampering with a $45 figure, not that I need to keep it in tact for resale, but perhaps to keep it uniform with the other figures in the series. You are very brave in my book. Robin.
