Well, I'll be all in on these new Poilu. The figures look spectacular and appear accurate in all aspects. I am a WW1 Francophile and there is no way I will miss out on these. These will be my first FL figures, but as the WW1 line developes, not my last. -- Al
Hi Gephard. I saw the figure with the Chauchat and was impressed. I really like the figures and also agree that they look very accurate in uniform color and equipment. Did you notice the rifleman with the grenade launcher? Another nice touch in terms of weapon diversity. I also like the gas mask pouchs hung in the 'ready' position. I would like to see a heavy MG team and maybe a few more grenadiers as opposed to riflemen in terms of an attacking force but as a first release these figures are just superb. Maybe FL will consider doing a 75mm field gun, which I have been begging for but has not been done by anyone yet. I understand about the breaking point because I am in the same boat. I have all but completely halted any buying outside WW1 and even that will be strained with all the great new product coming from so many directions. -- AlHi Al,
What do you think of the figure bottom left who seems to be charging armed with the Chauchat Modèle 1915 ?. That looks kickass , I have been looking at the uniforms for the last few minutes and they look to be spot on. This line could spell doom for me as I'm already at the breaking point, but just which line will have to go:redface2:. WWI has been for me my number one Militaria collecting interest for about the last 20 years since switching from WWII and I have been hoping FL would do them, it's decision time me. regards Gebhard
I understand, but I am, uh, eager for these things.:rolleyes2: I have the JJD figures released so far and they are outstanding and I hope that these FL figures will work well with the JJD figures so that my French Army continues to expand. Just have to work out the expense aspect.:wink2: -- AlAl,
I think Matt would say all in good time.
I was thinking about some Polius from John Jenkins but may wait to see these first.

Germans will be available for pre-order in May with a release in June, to be followed by release of no less than 15 Poliu a month later. A picture of the Poliu is available on the website.
Matt said no less than 15 so my apologies for being off by one :rolleyes2:
I think one of em may be a set of two looks like the guy in the back needed a little motivation to attack that MG08 {eek3} anyway maybe in a way your still right as that would make 15 figure codes :wink2: regards Gebhard
