Roughly any idea when we might hear about the new range?.Are we talking weeks or days now?.
Rob
For one of them, we're talking a week or so with the first figures shipping in early March. Pre-order to begin soon for just a very small number of figures introducing the range with lots of expansion over the course of the year.
As for anything beyond that, you'll just have to wait for now. We actually have several different things going on for 2009, so there will be no shortage of announcements of many new releases and ranges. For now, I suggest that you all enjoy what we have today and what's coming over the next month or two, which are really just some stunning figure sets, and worry about the rest later!
Excellent, thanks for your reply. Its good to have a helpful communication with a TS supplier.

I hope you get what you want mate but for some of us, they started with the "good stuff".I'm guessing a German Tiger or Russian T-34 would make a Samurai cry for his mama. Let's get to the good stuff.
With all of the Napoleonic releases we have blitzing onto the market in Q1 2009, your budget will have its hands full as it is.
Personally I think the market for WWII stuff is saturated. K and C, Figarti, HB, WB, ONWTC. I would rather FL concentrate on Napoleonics. We need Bursnwickers, Prussians, Hussars, Artillery support staff etc etc.

Well actually we need French cavalry (Cuirassiers, Carabiniers, Dragoons, Hussars), British cavalry (Innskillings, Guards, Dragoons, KGL), Rifles, British line infantry and light companies and fighting Old Guards even more IMHO..... Dont forget the Scots Greys, theres a few more Naps to come yet, whether they will do them all i dont know but i suspect they might.
I am sure they would be stunning but you have the K&C Greys. Actually I hope these come after all the others I mentioned which have not been done nearly as well. Of course I am not a fan of Grey horses really. The Scot greys would be stunning if FL did them. I can't imagine them being left out, so I think it is more of a waiting game.

The difference with WW2 is that a mfg. can dip his toe in the figure market without digressing from his main focus ( ref. HB and producing an odd set or 2 ). Because WW2 can be squad based for collecting purposes, FL could compete on a limited basis..Whereas Nappys are volume and mass formation driven, my pocketbook could afford the unique WW2 figure done the FL way..Michael

Being a big fan of WW2 soldiers and having seen the quality of their figures i would like to see FL enter the market. However having said that i can also understand the view of Damian and others who have said WW2 is very well covered by many producers. But if FL do dip their toe i'd love to see them do something different from the norm, perhaps something like the British Army in Burma?.Or maybe as Doug has said the Eastern front as its not served as widely as other conflicts.
