It was a reliable source, that's all I can say and, for the record, it wasn't George (Warrior).

I sure hope it really is WWII.
That way I don't have to worry about my budget :)

Well I had a chance meeting today with David from TM Terrain, the UK distributor for First Legion, and he confirmed, absolutely and without a shadow of a doubt, that the next new release, is, a secret. B*gger.

With all of the Napoleonic releases we have blitzing onto the market in Q1 2009, your budget will have its hands full as it is. ;)

Oh how mysterious, now one might have just said they heard it from a reliable source; nawwww, that wouldn't do would it?;):D

Sorry Spitfrnd, I was trying to keep a not so well kept secret, but I guess I just made myself look like a smarta$$ The owner of the company (I assume) mentioned WWII stuff coming out next year on another forum......eh ;)

Ah well that makes sense, no problem mate.;)

"It was a reliable source, that's all I can say and, for the record, it wasn't George (Warrior)."

Does that mean I am not a reliable source? Lol, you guys crack me up, good things come to those who wait and you will all find out soon enough. All I can say is many of you will be very happy collectors thanks to Mr Matt and myself; he makes the toys, I get to sell them at a show near you. Speaking of which, I plan on expanding my show presence next year due in a large part to all of the new releases planned, like for example the new range of..............................

George, not sure if you noticed it but your sentence just tailed off there, for the sake of forum continuity could you just complete it;)

We did say we had two new ranges coming out. That's all I'm going to say about this for now so while you are free to speculate, I will neither confirm nor deny anything about this until the time has come, which is Q1 2009. Suffice it to say, that any range we do will get the same treatment as our Napoleonics...

As I said in another post, 2009 will be an exciting time for us and our collectors.

Regards,

Matt

We need a teaser.

We need a teaser.

I thought saying that we had two new ranges coming out in early 2009 and saying that it would be an exciting time for us and our collectors WAS a teaser! :D

What sort of additional teaser did you have in mind? We'll see if I can accomodate you!

My money is one of them being WBTS. From the other thread I can see you have some passion for the era and thats gonna be my bet. That bein said, Ive never won the lotto so...

I actually do have a high level of interest in the period, however, given the delicate sensibilities and north/south divide from the other thread, I'm almost afraid to produce Civil War figures!!!

Matt Im just about on the floor laughing. I think youd have nothing to worry about. The quality of your figures would keep us occupied and we would have nothing to fight about; so long as you make more Johnny Rebs than Billy Yanks ;):D

This is not a period that holds much interest for me for this purpose but if you believe the premise that the North/South divide persists (which you know I think is overstated) giving those with such sensibilities more tools to re-create the fight does make marketing sense.;) I can think of a good starting set that derives from that other thread but it is too politically incorrect to mention it here, even for me.:D
