Looks awesome mate, can't wait to get down there and see the displays in the flesh!

I just love the Dio and the amazing other sets.....What kind of let me down was Jenkins Writing the manufacturers brand of the French WW1 Truck on its side....as if one would go to war making advertising campaigns{sm3}{sm3}

And the other being that Jenkins made the cargo bay and the canvas structure all out of one piece, hence not allowing more great WW1 dios to be made.....but all in all it is a great set....will have mine repainted to give it more of a front line look....
Cheers

There is a fine example of the truck in the Verdun Museum with Berliet down the canvas side exactly as John has made it...Berliet was perhaps ahead of its time.

Well may be so!!^&grin^&grin Not at all Military in style, " will still have mine painted over" ...... All this maketing on a broad canvas moving in the horizon would be a FANTASTIC sighting aid for a Keen Artillery spotter.....with all this fine military finess one can understand why Britain and the US had to cross the pod twice in one Century to save them...
Cheers

You'll be lucky if you're allowed in at all, but if we are allowing Kiwis to attend we have to let you in........{sm3}:wink2:^&grin

Come along mate, if me and Toddy can fit in, then you'll be fine, even if you are wearing your Weagles Guernsey!!! ^&grin

Tom

Yes indeed great to be as Jack said 'Officially Legends' {sm3}:wink2:, Jacks article 'We Few, We Happy Few' with Marcs photos was wonderful to be seen in The Toy Collector Mag.
Always nice to see something you are involved in being recognised by ones peers, I'm just chuffed my 'Dunny' made into the article :rolleyes2:. Without Jack (Martin) of course none of this would have happened as he facilitated the whole project from concept to the Dinner, bless his cotton socks...:salute::
Wayne.

Thanks very much for noticing. If I can give a plug for the magazine, they were wonderful to deal with and the article came up quite beautifully.
