Hi everyone, I took some time out from my bridge diorama to build a nice generic WW2 Medic Building.... complete with removable roof for interior detailing... and working sliding doors.... let me know what you think....

Very nice Marc. I always admire anyone who can build things like this from scratch. Very realistic and I like the red cross on the roof.

EDIT: Build a Rama makes a nice red cross/medical sign. Would make the perfect accessory. http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/p-10496-medic-flag-pole-set-field-hospital.aspx

Spot on Mr Womble.....looks like many old Army Bks buildings.....though I am not too sure about the modern sliding doors....(joke)...great job.....now all you need are a few Nurses...a Quack and a few patients....maybe a RAP sign (Regimental Aid Post) posted in front of the building....Errr...dont know what RAP is in German......one real...good looking... barracks building ......TomB

Mate im still digging up the nerve to paint it,plus im waiting on some Accessories for it to turn up.
Next weekend i reckon..................^&grin Hope it turns out half as good as this.

Try WW2 German Nurse's.......Google Image is weird in some ways....I have found it rearranges it's pictures at each request....you may have to try 4 or 5 times to get a pic you saw at your first try.....try also....WW2 German nurse's uniforms.....German nurses figurines...rephrase your request as many ways as you can.....Sometimes you click on a picture and you also get a site to that picture,,,and also ...if that picture is on Ebay it will take you to the Ebay site...hope this helps...TomB.......PS...google Image is the greatest thing since sliced bread but like all internet sites it works in some strange ways....or maybe it is just me who aint up with the mod jass

It probably sounds silly but scratch building is REALLY enjoyable... a bit like painting a picture. There is the hands on construction bit then there is the painting and weathering... all in all very enjoyable. I recently sold a bridge I had made to another forum collector and he was so over the moon about it... it makes ya feel good
