Yangtze River 1926 (1 Viewer)

Looking really good Martyn ! :salute::

Nice looking Dock, who makes that please ?

Steve

Glad you like the dock Steve, it was made for me by TM Terrain a few years ago. I made and added the steps last week:wink2:

Nice continuation of the theme. Launch and dock are a perfect fit. CHris

Many thanks Chris :salute::

Martyn...very nice...that is a good looking dock and backdrop!

Nice one Martyn, you're keeping me in suspense as the story unfolds ! :salute::

Mmmm, wonder what the officer is up to ?

Nothing involving trying to look inconspicuous wearing his Tropical whites ! :p

Steve

Brilliant little scene Martyn, the choice of surrounds sets it off so well. Robin.

Nice looking scene Martyn, though probably not too nice for the Pfc getting the hard time from the S/Sgt ! {sm0}{sm2}

After an uneventful trip the launch arrives back at Yangtze Patrol base, Shanghai

Interesting Martyn, looks like you have a larger boat awaiting your man !

Steve

Martyn...
I don't see you deviate from your epic Trophy collection...
but these figures and your Yangtze River dioramas...
are extremely nice!

Mike said just what I was thinking.....this is a nice deviation from your fantastic collection of glossies!

I love your scenes here. They are well staged and tell the story perfectly!

Thanks for sharing them.

Many thanks Steve, Mike and Mark:salute::

My Trophy and LL are favourites but I have always had a soft spot for K&C. I had a fairly large collection of DDay and Battle of the Bulge sets which I sold in 2009 to make way for the extra Trophy and LL campaigns that I had started to collect to add to my AZW. My wife Marie, bought the K&C US Navy figures for me as a Christmas present back in 2009, the movie "Sand Pebbles" had always been a favourite of ours and after seeing these figures in December 2009 at the Toy Soldier Show London I knew I had to get them, unfortunately I didn't take up the offer of getting the USMC figures to go with them, I have managed to find most of the USMC figures recently but I am still short of 3 to complete the collection. More pictures to come....also a few more China related
:wink2:

Very nice series Martyn and The Sand Pebbles is also one of my favorite movies. Hope to see launch #1 (partially shown) soon. :wink2:

Here's a pic of the Panay, similar to the San Pablo of the movie. Chris
