Another well done peek at what Roman street life might have looked like.

You are capturing the images of a Roman street in every way Steve. Robin.
Thanks Robin.
Trying to capture the essence of the time, but I'll say one thing, the more you know of the then, the more you are grateful that you live today !

Well Done Steve.
I particularly like the stone cutter.
Best wishes,
Benjamin

Great work Steve, makes me want to watch the ‘Rome’ series on Max again

Cheers Ben !
Hopefully a few more skilled tradesmen and general labourers will eventually appear in the range.

Great diorama Steve. You've perfectly recreated the illustration.

Brendan

Excellent scene, Steve. I don't collect this series, but you make it awfully temping.

Mark

Thanks for the kind words Brendan, Wayne & Mark.
Know this era isn't to everyones taste and not being military type figures may narrow the appeal further in some peoples eyes, but it's good to have this range opening up the hobby to those who love historical miniatures, but may not be interested in military ones.

I echo the same sentiment Steve. Currently I have a similar interest, like yours, in collecting the non military figures from the WB Village Green range, particularly the pre Civil War figures.

Hi Steve,
Really sharp rendition of the scene in K&C figures. You have certainly made some splendid dios with your Roman civilians.
Inside the apartment made me chuckle, good one! 😆

Even way back then, people were living beyond their means 😀. Good job Steve. Robin.

Yes, sometimes the story that you are wanting to tell can only or perhaps best be told from a non military point of view.
