Martin, thanks, never heard some of them and great Al Stewart track - reminds me of this track I haven't heard for 35 years and suited to a toy soldier thread. I think he is/was a great singer/songwriter from that golden age of them.

Funny you mention that as while i do like that live version..But nothing beats the original score plus it was matched to a great scene in the film!

Agree, other film music, the Dambusters makes my neck hair stand up. A great film and superb book by Paul Brickhill. He and Len Deighton are my favourite authors on the RAF.
