Not to worry, the unfortunate Saracen below was dispatched with a mace, keeping w/ the rules of the time which allowed fighting members of the clergy to kill as long as they spilled no blood. It looks like this bishop has worked his way around not being able to wield any sharp objects!!

Very nice photos Joe. That rule you cite makes as much sense to me as many other religious dictates but honestly I doubt that you could kill someone with a mace without shedding some blood????:wink2:
 
Thanks Bill! I agree w/ you about the almost certain results of mace use and how it is an extremely strange code indeed.
 
Great shots Joe i sold my crusaders now im starting to regret it,kept the mounted ones tho.
