Just added this brand new AeroArt figure to the collection. Picked him up in TX from Thor. Pictures don't do it justice - very detailed and well shaded figure. Quite heavy too!

Just got back some De-Nazified K&C figures!
Mike DeMarco was able to remove the swastikas and make these figure look like they've never heard of Hitler! I loved the figures, but had no need for Nazis in my collection! I think he did a great job! (and yes, whilst I love the figures, I do think the eyes are a bit wonky on a few)

Persian Warrior with Axe and Bow Running Kolobob KA04
It is a Kolobob exclusive. I guess Boris has started making his own figures. Generally he has castings painted, but this one is actually a unique Kolobob figure. I don't know who is doing the sculpting for him.

Saving the best for last today, I present my newest addition to the herd!!! I have been looking for this one for a LONG time and almost passed out when I saw that Thor brought it to TX!!!

This is an Art Girona casting of Judah maccabee that i commission Ernesto Reyes to paint for me.
I think he did an amazing job and could not be happier with it!

Just back from the World Expo in Chicago. What a great weekend with old friends and many new ones! It was the first opportunity for me to pick up some things that were commissioned a long time ago from some European artists. These next few posts are some pieces I picked up there mixed in with some stuff that was home that I never got around to photographing...you like variety, well these next posts might take the cake, even for me!!!

This is Atonement. I first saw this piece at MFCA two years ago and loved it. I wasn't in the market for the original, but the artist, soon after, made it in kit form. This is one of the kits. This one is painted by Franscesco Farabi and is going to be the box art for the kit. It is sculpted by Michael Kontraros, who also did my Jules Verne figure and Freak Show (the clowns)
