This next one is a Berserker bust made by Nuts Planet. The painter is Ben Komets from Germany. I feel he captured my likeness quite well!

This next one is called First Kiss and was both Painted and Sculpted by Christos Panagiotopoulos from Greece.
If you remember my figure of the girl taking her doll to the doctor, Christos is the artist who painted that one for me.

This is Trophy's Jack the Ripper and Victim set. I had been waiting for this one for quite some time (not as long as First Legion NAP0012 - anyone have one to sell??? :p )

Another from the Expo - this one is also painted and sculpted by Christos. It's called Out of Harm's Way

These are just fun little simple figures from Le Drapeaux de France. If you haven't seen it, check out their website - some really cool stuff there. I've been on them to get online ordering for a while now and when speaking with the manager this weekend, he said "any day now"...

Also from Le Drapeaux de France, this is a two sided tree. It's a flat piece. I really don't know what I'm going to do with it, but it was spectacular!

King & Country's The Traveling Wine Merchant
You all know I love the new IDF releases, but to me this is one of the best K&C pieces to come out this year!

This next one was a long time in the making. I commissioned Ben Komets (painter) and Lucas Pina Pinochet (sculptor) to do this one for me. It was my vision to have a figure of Herman Melville "in his study" while writing Moby Dick. I wanted his thoughts to be conveyed in the piece. Beyond that general idea, the piece was taken from there by Ben and Lucas, who worked back and forth for a long time deciding how to do it. My father passed away in 2012 and was a huge whaling collector and enormous Moby Dick fan, so this one had to be good! Ben and Lucas absolutely nailed it! I saw a few pictures along the way, but man alive, when I saw it for the first time in person this weekend, I was speechless!!!! I am so glad I had it done and so happy for both of them as it won a gold medal this weekend at the World Expo!
enough of my drivel.....

You made quite a haul at the Expo...this "Herman Melville" piece is an exquisite work or art.

Congratulations and thank you for posting all these additions to your collection.

I haven't been keeping up to date here, but here are some new additions since last time....

Trophy Game Merchant. I am not sure what really goes with what here. If anyone can let me know, that'd be great!

Trophy Ice Cream cart and guy reading newspaper. The writing on the ice cream cart seems weird to me and I don't know if it belongs with that kid. Again, any info is appreciated!

This is Joan of Arc. It was made by Nevskaya Miniatura and distributed by Aeroart. I am so happy with this piece!

This next one might be a little polarizing. I first saw these while browsing through Mikhail Kochetkov's collection. The castings are from a German Company called Peipp Miniaturen and I had them painted by Silver Dream Studio in Russia. They are admittedly quite odd and more characters than "Real life", but i really like them. I am having Nevskaya Miniatura paint a few more for me. I'll post those once I get them.
This is Market Kart:

Regarding your Trophy set, The Ice Cream Cart (C 64), the bather goes with the set but not the figure with the newspaper; that's the Times Reporter set. Regarding the writing, that's not the original writing for the set but Len (Len Taylor, the founder of Trophy) would customize sets upon request.

According to Wikipedia Trefor Morris was Chief Inspector of Constabulary of the City of Manchester in the mid 1990s.

On reflection the figure with the newspaper is probably the gambler with the racing gazette.

As I have said, the Moby Dick set is one of the best pieces I have ever seen. I would love to have something similar done of one of my favorite writers. I also love the Trophy pieces.
The knight is just magnificent.

Why is the last one you posted controversial?
