Tourist's from the Nile River boat "Karnak" are awe struck with the enormity of the Pharaoh's Monument and the monument to the Goddess Bastet. The Goddess Bastet was the protector of the home, guarding against evil spirits, and disease. She is associated with the Eye of Ra, a symbol of protection and the Sun God's all seeing power. She was often depicted as a cat.

That’s a great piece, really fits in well. Robin.

It really is a nice piece. I got from Summit Collection Gifts #Y8446, "Sandstone Bastet". It's actually a small box with a removable lid, but it's a perfect size for a monument feature. Summit is having a Memorial Day sell through Monday. Everything was 20% off and with free shipping.

Are you getting spotters fee ? 😀. Might look into this one, it’s interesting. Robin.

This isn't the only piece I got from Summit. They have a fairly nice offering of inexpensive Ancient Egyptian gift sets that work well for the K&C series. I also got three god statuettes that are 3.5 inches tall, perfect for tomb decor

Yeah, Real World Postage, from wherever to wherever has been killing international sales for a few years now as opposed to, from China, which is only starting to bite !
