US/Israel Launches Op Epic Fury Against Iran (4 Viewers)

So...the "story is a fake"...the video is a John Stewart hoax and "he’s politicizing nonsense"?

I'm getting old...I'll admit it...and my eyes are getting worse...and maybe I'm seeing things...but it sure looks to me in the video that RFK just ran off stage with security...never even looking back...leaving his wife trailing until somebody finally said..."leave no man behind"...and finally offered her a smidgen of help...

my Dad wouldn't do that to my Mom...I know you guys wouldn't do that to your significant others...right?

RFK...my man...he's good at this...when there's trouble....he's gone...remember this one...

a man passes out in the Oval Office...and RFK...the Secretary of Health and Human Resources...vanishes in seconds in thin air...

almost as good as David Copperfield...watch this short video...it's hilarious...

What would you have RFK do pull out a pocket knife and give the man an emergency tracheostomy? Oh wait a minute RFK is a Trump guy so therefore he did something wrong.

Gary:

I could care less if RFK is a Trump guy.

I do care when his ignorance can kill me.

He has continually promoted a view that ALL diabetics should stop relying on insulin and focus on lifestyle changes.

Great idea, except my pancreas produces zero insulin, without regular shots I would die within a day or 2.

This is not a lifestyle thing. I was born that way.

I don’t care about politics when it comes to health, I care about life and death.

Literally.

Jason...wow...what a plan for you...that is double scary...stop relying on insulin...and focus on lifestyle changes...

you could go on a plant protein only diet and work out 7 days a week...but no insulin...and you are screwed...

I'm a Type 2 diabetic...I would probably be in the operating room having my feet cut off in 1-2 years without my insulin...

I wouldn't let RFK come near me with a butter knife...might mistake me for a racoon...

never understood his appointment to Secretary of Health and Human Resources...
totally unqualified to give any medical advice...
looking forward to Dr. Erica Schwartz to lead the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)...

RFK Jr. is an embarrassment. It pains me every day to hear his name because his father was a hero of mine. I was fall of idealism then. I was a HS junior when he was murdered. It changed me, probably made me more cynical. Barely a month goes by when RFK doesn’t come to mind. The tragedy of my youth. Jr. is and never will be 1/10th the man his father was but I have a certain compassion for him in the way he lost his father. I’m sure it changed him in ways we can’t even fathom or comprehend.

Maybe in respect for his father - who was the victim of a political assassination in a hotel - it is a bad idea to single him out for criticism when he becomes the potential victim of political violence in a hotel. It shows just how far the radicalization has become to criticize him of all people in the situation. It's the Jon Stewart types who fueled the hatred that is causing this violence. It is one thing to criticize a president, and another to vilify him. The assassin in this case appears to be an otherwise normal person who is parroting the hate fueled talking points that radicalized him to this act.

Who to believe? Jon Stewart or the words of the person involved. Here it is again: "So we were there, and we heard shots, everybody got under the tables, nobody knew what was going on, and then Bobby's security detail surrounded us, and took us, had to lift me over chairs, because I'm in heels, and a gown," she added. "They took us through all of the back ways, and we got in the car and left."

It doesn't strike me as notable that the security detail might prioritize the members of the administration since that is their primary responsibility and they are the most likely targets. When there is a security incident, the secret service is in charge. You do what they tell you. It would be reckless not to do so and put others in danger. And the kicker is that the story is fundamentally false. They did also assist the spouse per her own words. So what is this really about? Jon Stewart hates Trump and RFK, Jr. He has to slant the narrative to find something negative to say about them. He takes no responsibility for the actual violence. The assassin in this case is espousing the exact hate filled propaganda that pepole like Stewart, Colbert and most of the media has feed us for a decade and counting. The assassin bears direct responsibility for his actions. He will spend the rest of his live in prison. Stewart and others bear indirect responsibility for inciting him to violence.

I wasn't alive when this happened and I have probably a more cynical view of the Kennedy family in general as more details about the Father and dealings have come out over time. Of course, what happened to RFK should not happen to anyone and I am sure it left RFK Jr with a lot different viewpoint on life than most would imagine. Agree on that.

Regarding RFK, why am I cynical and don't have the reverence that some do for the Kennedys? Joe Kennedy was a high class criminal, he was truly no different than the men he was in business with - Frank Costello. Now, he maybe didn't pull the trigger like Costello would, but their goals were one in the same - they made a ton of money off of bootlegging and other smuggling crimes. Furthermore, there is absolutely no doubt that John Kennedy was elected because of the backdoor deal by his father and Giancana and Nixon. Nixon was told to back off and wait his turn, John Kennedy was the guy and the election swung his way. Then of course tragedy struck which I am convinced we will never get the full story. It was odd how all of a sudden RFK went on his mafia crusade. He basically double-crossed the mob, Hoffa and the like. Politics certainly hasn't changed today in a lot of ways. Strange bedfellas part ways when it is not conducive for one side or the other. SO, my point being is that the "facade of Camelot" has a ton of cracks in it for me. My opinion is not a popular one as the Kennedy name still invokes a lot of power, but I have always looked at issues in the black and the white and a spade is a spade, a heart is a heart, a club is a club and a diamond is a diamond.

The irony of course and I admit this freely is that my Great Uncle was certainly a part of the machine I describe above - a "partner" in a vending machine company, a career politician who only left office in his casket and a wealthy man with a lot of money on the street! Oddly enough on his death, the money vanished. So I guess being cynical and hypocritical can all coexist.

Who cares about that nepo druggie? Just keep him away from animals and toilet seats and don't listen to his gurgling ramblings.
The war in Iran is expensive for the government and the people, it degrades our status with important allies and wastes munitions that may have to be used en masse vs Russia, China or anyone else who is actually attacking us. Sure it's what Israel wants but they should be careful what they wish for.
I care much more about Europe and the English-speaking countries than I ever will about Israel, whose geographical location has made them too fanatical. Try listening to the King of England and the Commonwealth.
But I respect all opinions. If the US King cheats as usual, it will be difficult for the majority to be heard; but votes will determine who is in power in the near future. It will not be the right for a short time.
Just look up the failures and foolishness of our King. Broaden the sources of your News intake.
And Keep Collecting and Keep the Faith
Long Live Ukraine and the Labor movement.
Best Wishes to all on the Forum; Paddy himself hath said enough...

Respectfully disagree about Israel. They are probably our only true ally (in the sense of "ride or die") other than the aging powers in England. England is going through a transformation, and it may not happen in my lifetime, but the British Empire IMO is being taken apart at home "brick by brick". Most of Europe are different type of allies now, I almost view them as a business transaction and it didn't start under Trump, the changes in France, Germany, Spain took place long ago now. I would not say Australia and Canada are the same either. Don't get me wrong, but I still believe if the USA was attacked, our allies would come to our defense. (b/c if the US falls, so goes the free world)

Furthermore, the War in Iran does not degrade us, we are the only ones who finally called the fanatic's bluff. They have been running roughshod over the World with Russia and China's help for the last near 50 years. Enough is enough, they are highly dangerous and are the cause of 90% of the instability in the Middle East - heck, if you county their proxy forces, it is near 100%. If that regime can be eliminated, the rest of the world would be 1000% better off.

Maybe I am a naysayer, but I see a slow burn (also occurring here in the USA) towards a globalization that at some point will be the end of the collective Empire and I don't think its a good thing. History repeats itself more often than not in concept, just some of the players may wear different colors.

Bottom line and I mean no disrespect to other Country's represented here on the board, but if the USA doesn't look out for itself first, it is not a smart move. My momma always reminded me to be considerate of others, but at the end of the day - you are the only one who has your own best interests at heart, no one else does.

For the record, this is not a political party idea, it should be in the thoughts of all of our leaders.

Her response is accurate...it’s undisputed...I have read it myself on various news outlets...no disagreement there...but what would you expect her to say…

“My husband and security forgot all about me?”

How damaging would that be to RFK’s personality that he didn’t even turn around to see if she was okay? Which he didn’t.

but the video is also accurate…it’s not doctored...people can lie...they can twist a story to work for them...but the video evidence is indisputable...I know what I see...her welfare does appear to be more than an after thought…

the slant on all these news stories are filled with propaganda serving their parties interest...both Democrats and Republicans...it depends where you get your news source and who you choose to believe…

I don’t believe Stewart and others bear indirect responsibility for inciting the shooter to violence…

So many times I have heard responses on this forum that I personally hate Trump/RFK and have to slant my narrative to find something negative to say about them...as in the latest post to me from a member on this forum today was…

“Oh wait a minute RFK is a Trump guy so therefore he did something wrong.”

What does his being a Trump guy have to do with his concern for his wife?

But by the same token I believe many Trump/RFK fans are so jaded and ingrained in loyalty following this administration and the rhetoric that they espouse...that right or wrong they vehemently deny anything negative about the administration or the War in Iran…

so the slant works both ways...

I do pray that this operation helps Israel, at least. They have faced enough terrorism. I understand their anger.
Both sides pick on everything the other does. So I guess, upon some reflection, that the war in Iran is not, even slightly, my biggest gripe with the current administration.
And RFK is an idiot. I am too. Also under-employed. Maybe I should kiss butt more...
Now I'm done for a few days

I hear what you are saying and honestly RFK Jr. is a nothing burger to me, he is IMO out there. I really don't pay a lot of attention to him. But that is me.

The one comment though and I am speaking only for me - my support for anything currently is not based on Trump. Honestly, a hippo could be President during the conflict in Iran and I would be supportive, like I said so many times, this should have occurred 45 years ago.

Again, I don't think politics should be as polarizing on all fronts like it is today. For me, it is about issues and the most important to me are security, long term economic outlook and what is going on here today. The one thing I really abhor is globalization. I don't mean that you cannot have harmony, but this socialistic viewpoint that one size fits all is just "nutty" IMO. I am about the least religious person you will ever meet, but I do believe that one particular religion is used by bad actors in the World to further their cause and they use innocent people in that religion to achieve their goals. So what do you do? There are 2 members of Congress who actually scare me - Talib and Omar. I am sorry, but I have a real hard time thinking about them as Americans based on their published comments, to me they are nuts too.

I don't like the extremes of either party's agendas and that is what I fight against with my vote.

If you call someone a Nazi, Hitler, suggest he is committing genocide, wants to destroy democracy, is a crook, rapist, pedophile, and is colluding with Putin for over a decade and counting, and then when someone is radicalized by this propaganda to commit an act of violence, who is to blame? The assassin in this most recent attempt parroted this nonsense like a robot. In some respects, he is a victim himself. He will spend the remainder of his life in prison after being brainwashed. Again, the role of the secret service is to protect members of the administration. You do what they say in these situations. If they tell you to go, you go. Vilifying RFK like he abandoned his wife is offensive. Particularly under the circumstance that his own father was assassinated in a similar circumstance.

you said......“If you call someone a Nazi, Hitler, suggest he is committing genocide, wants to destroy democracy, is a crook, rapist, pedophile...who is to blame?”

Nazi/Hitler......Trump said Hitler did some good things and wanted generals like the Nazis, former Chief of Staff Kelly claims...can never be proven as it was a private conversation...but I wouldn't doubt it for a minute...

Committing Genocide......Trump posted on Truth Social that "a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again" if a deal was not reached by 8 P.M. on April 7th...

Destroy Democracy……The Trump administration has and is systematically targeting universities, courts, the press, freedom of speech, the Constitution, the legal profession, weaponizing US departments against protesters, seeking revenge retribution of political opponents, abusing lack of habeas corpus for immigrants...all using the DOJ to further his agenda...these are key pillars of democracy...an annual report from V-Dem, an institute at Sweden's University of Gothenburg, concluded democracy had deteriorated so much in the U.S. that it lowered the country's democracy ranking from 20th to 51st out of 179 countries...the U.S. landed between Slovakia and Greece.

Crook/Rapist…...Donald Trump is the first U.S. president to be criminally convicted, and found guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records...he faces multiple other indictments and lawsuits involving accusations of fraud, racketeering, rape and obstruction...he was found liable by a federal jury for having sexually abused E. Jean Carroll...awarding her a $5 million judgment...

A pedophile…...unproven...but more than suspect in my opinion...he has blocked the American public from these records...we will have to wait for the Epstein files probably another 2 ½ years...if ever…

Let it sink in...I’m not making this stuff up...

I was only referring to the incident on video where RFK is seen walking away. Not at all with his policies. When it comes to his policies I don't agree with him either.

The German generals of the regular army were very good soldiers. You don't have to like Hitler or the Nazi's to recognize this.

If you believe that nonsense, then you must think these attempted assassins are heroes. After all, if someone could go back in time and assassinate Hitler they would be deemed a hero. That is why this type of reckless rhetoric has resulted in violence. The assassins are all in on what you are selling.

Nonsense??? What I posted is not nonsense…34 convicted felonies… nonsense… a whole civilization will die… nonsense… what I said are facts… not nonsense…

And if you don’t believe it, or most probably just want to ignore it… I think your loyalty to Trump just overrides what has actually happened and that’s fine with me…

And no, I don’t believe assassins or murderers are heroes… how can you possibly insinuate that from my post?
That’s not even a logical assumption…
