Hi Wolfgang,

Just the one, which I mix from buff and a smaller amount of red mixed on a palette so it thickens up a bit before I paint.

Jeff

Looking good Jeff, this surely has to be one of the more colourful sets you have painted.

Jeff,
I have to second Wolfgang's comments on the skin.... Excellent job and thanks for the tip of mixing red! I just love the "at rest" figures! Mike

Thank you Jeff - I guess I will try out gloss paints pretty soon myself.

Very nice, Jeff,
and I can only agree with any previous comments about the skin color. You mixed it just right. Looking good!

Hello Jeff,
great to watch the progress, fantastic looking paintjob - how did you get the photos uploaded in such size?
Wolfgang

Jeff,
I really like these figures. Good work as usual. Was this a set?

KV,

They are individual Model Soldiers but are also sold as a Traditional Toy Soldier Set, that is why they are a little larger in size and more expensive than the Toy Soldier range.

Jeff

Hi Wolfgang,

These are reduced to 1000 x 800 pixels by using the software that came with the camera.

Jeff

I have concentrated on the seated Voltigeur and Hussar playing cards today and with only a few more bits and details to go I hope to finish them tomorrow.

Very, very nice, Jeff,
now they really come alive.
Once they are at this level it is hard to keep the patience
Looking forward to them.
Konrad

Looking very nice Jeff. Great detail.
I see you've run out of yellow paint to finish the plume. I can swap some yellow for a tin of green if you like? :D;)

Very nice thread, it has been a pleasure watching your work progress.

Hallo Jeff,
really nice to see how well "Yellow" works on the darker colours, I would not have thought that it would work that well - having great fun following your thread.
Wolfgang

Nice job on the cards, too, Jeff! I was curious to see what you would do with them.

Prost!
Brad

Finished these off earlier today, and the Voltigeur is sneaking a peak at the girl's charms  whilst the Hussar is sneaking a peak at the Voltigeur's card hand!! :D :D

Now to get on with the others.

Jeff

Well, you had to finish the plume off in green, just to rub it in, didn't you? ;)
They look top notch Jeff.
You really ought to give that poor girl a Milliput cloak, or she'll catch her death. :D
