Hi guy's let's get back to toy soldier stories. Who likes the new Panther as I think it is a beaut. I do not have one so I will be getting one for sure. I now have a Tiger and one has to have a mate for it so the Panther is a must for me. This will make the Three big German ones for me. Who else is getting one. Simmo.:)

Yep I'll be getting one once the Spit and ambulance have arrived.Looks really nice doesn't it, looking forward to coating it with my summer Panther:cool:

very much hope Andy will revisit the Jagdpanther too

Cheers Simmo

Rob

The new Panther has improved detail but is actually an earlier version than the Summer Panther.

I wonder as now Andy has a new Panther cast we may see one for the Bulge later in the year?.

Rob....

With the growing popularity of the winter war and that battle it would be madness not to bring out a winter version IMO

I sent off my check to pre-order the new Panther A. The photos look pretty nice! Since the steel-wheeled Panther was not built in time for Normandy I might either sell the old one, or more likely look at repainting it for the Ardennes offensive. The "muck" cast into the whells and tracks will look fine for mud and snow that was common until the ground froze over. Then my Shermans will have "victims" for both battles, although the Ardennes troops could sure use a 90mm tank dstroyer (hint, hint!).

Good idea Gary, the Summer Panther would look great in Winter finish.

For the armor experts, isn't the M10 hull the same as the M36? Sure could use a Jackson to keep the big cats at bay!:)

Its always hard to say from pictures how good something is but, this panther for me, looks top notch. I really like the zimmeritt and, the way that it has been chipped in combat and travel. I have just done the 360 degree on the website and, again am amazed at how good it looks.

I recently converted the last panther for a friend who, is now gutted that one has been released so soon after the conversion. But, its a must buy IMO

I agree, this is a very nice update to one of my earlier favorites!

I still prefer the old Panther, and am keeping that one.

Terry

Old Summer does have more figures and is a latter series Panther than the incoming, so I may still keep the old girl, time will tell. Of course I can always have one of each

I like the previous Panther very much, but with the advance of K&C's quality over the years, this new one will be another step up in my view, the tracks look good just from photos,so this is a must have for me.

Are you keeping the old set, or is that a silly question to ask you Rob :D

Has the price jump from $139.00 to $209.00US changed anyone's mind on getting one?
