Are you keeping the old set, or is that a silly question to ask you Rob![]()
LOL! I'll keep the original Oz
Will you be getting the new one?

Has the price jump from $139.00 to $209.00US changed anyone's mind on getting one?
I've got the old WS 072 and was considering picking up the new version however at that new price it has just fallen WAY down my priority list for now. Maybe someday but not real soon. Disappointing.

I guess I'm coming into this a little late... but why did the price go to $209?
Hi Guys,
I’ve apologized elsewhere for the mix up on the price of the new Panther. However, I also want to set “jbonzo1’s” mind at ease “Supposedly a mixup by K&C… a BIG mixup!”
You’re dead right my friend… a $70 mixup to be exact. Apologies for any confusion this has caused you and others.

If it weren't for the fact that I already have three Panthers, I would be purchasing this one. Same thing with the Tiger, I also have three of them too![]()
Hi Guys,
In answer to Mitch’s question… Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t… Tigers, King Tigers and Panthers are, for the most part bigger, heavier and take longer to paint than plain old olive drab Allied vehicles.
It’s as simple as that… more materials used… longer painting time… higher factory costs.
Glad you accept Mitch, that cost plays a part… I would say cost is exactly what it comes down to…
Hope this helps… even if it does not altogether soothe the pain!
Best wishes and happy collecting!

I agree with Brad pretty much. I think these reissued Tiger and Panther are aimed more at the newer collectors and those who missed the versions from a couple of years ago. They look great as usual though and I'm sure there are plenty of people who would like to upgrade.
