The WW1 figures are freaking beautiful. That'll screw up my collecting plans for 2007. Can do without the Hitler figure though. What's that about?

Well he did fight in the trenches in WW1 (actually at one point opposite the trench which Churchill was in)and was injured a couple of times(Gassed once i think?)And as Andy has started this range with some notable personalities i guess its valid.(even if he was only a corporal)whether people like it or not is a whole different matter.Each to their own i suppose.I feel a little bit uneasy about the Gestapo car set.But thats probably just me!

If my memorey serves me correctly Hitler fought in WW1 and belive it or not was awarded the Iron cross. But not sure whether I would have one either.

Yes thats right,they still have the bunker he is reputed to have served in on the western front.In fact if memory serves its called 'Hitlers bunker'.

There was a story some years ago entilted 'the man who spared Hitler', about a British soldier who stormed into a German trench during a raid and shot/bayonetted several Germans.However he spared one soldier as he was already wounded,no prizes for guessing who that was?!.If only he'd run him through with his bayonet,think of the millions of people who wouldn't have lost their lives.The mind boggles.

Brad we are indeed united!.Lets face it only one person kicked his Nazi arse out of africa,out thought and out fought the fox.(Cue the arguments,numbers supplies bla bla bla)but Monty was the man that did.And as i have said before he had many faults and made mistakes in Normandy/Arnhem.But one thing is forgotten he whupped the most famous and gifted piece of scum in the German army.And for that he is a hero.
