Ok guys, what are we hoping for and what do we think we will see as Dispatches No 9 of 2011 hoves into view. Are we out of D day season, will Bulge make an early showing? And how about the non WW2 ranges? Anymore Napoleonics or ACW on the horizon? With Chicago mere weeks away any surprises in Dispatches do we think, I myself am expecting one very nice surprise release but not sure if it's this month or not. Also wondering if we will see the RAF version of the new truck.

Roll up roll up, place your bets guys!

Yes I'd forgotten the Ancient Greeks, I wonder if we will see the first wave in Sept, I know many collectors really looking forward to these.

Rob

I'm guessing some more WW2 Germans, mabye some D-Day Brits and hopefully the second installment of the Gordon Highlanders

It's the retirements I'll also be looking out for as there are some Bulge items I don't want to miss, anyone else got anything they really don't want to see go just yet?

Rob

There are still some 1917 German and English stuff I dont want to see go just yet, especially the 77mm artillery piece.

I liked to see some new ACW sets or Crusades. But for WW2 Iam hoping for some Russians, 8th Army,or
Any American or German BOB. Hopefully any surprises KC have in store would involve somthing Russian.:rolleyes2:

Considering the other thread Andy posted, 3 new WWI fockers are sure to come, and with that maybe some extra WWI stuff. I`d love to see an early release of Bulge and some more defending the Reich. Not to mention something russian... 70 years of Barbarossa last June...

It would be a nice surprise to see a grouping of officers in a trench bunker discussing the next mornings charge over the top. Or the US Doughboys making an appearance, or a soldiers daily activities like mess, or lounging around the trenches. Some ideas to add to a growing display.

If any BOB sets get retired I hope its not the 105 field gun (bba031). Its on my list but have others
ahead.

I am hoping for a another great Napoleon in Egypt release !!

Fingers crossed for more French Line Inf. {sm4}

I got this set last year and I must say it's probably my favourite of all the Bulge US releases, an excellent release full of action and realism. Haven't got the add on set yet so am hoping this doesn't get retired this month. There are also a couple of Luftwaffe figures I'm considering for a dio that I need too.

No more "FOKKERS" lets have a real plane the one the only

STUKA
just in time for the windy city show.................................{sm4}

Just use your imagination. Many of the Fokkers "landed" as a STUKA !{sm2}

I agree - so manu great Bulge sets that I still need, would be a shame if there are retirements. I too want the 105 gun and the add-on sets.... I have about half of all American Bulge sets produced and have managed to pick up a few missing and retired pieces off E bay recently, like the Chaffee, which I managed to get at about 25% under original cost, mint in box. No guarantees that these bargains will always be around though!

Well, if we are to focus on german armour then: Sturmtiger (still badly needs done in the hobby and sooner rather than later) Panzer IV 75mm late war version couple of colours would do winter for russian bulge and a normandy version. Some much needed flak support for the normandy troops against some of the allied airpower is also needed.

Winter Nebelwerfers would make a good Bulge addition and would compliment the range well (we got the Flak 41 this time last year at the show) Hanomags the mainstay of the german Heer and Waffen SS badly under-represented and, can be done in every format inmaginable from bridge laying engineer version to a flak variant. Again, perfect for the 250 range a desert version normandy and winter all could easily be accomodated with this AFV

Already mentioned MG elsewhere apart from that always interested to see what comes out

Nice catch on the Chaffee Jameson, a lovely little Tank that one and a great addition to the US Bulge releases, I'm glad I got one .

Yes the Sturmtiger is one of the lesser made AFV's of WW2, I think NMA's versions were the last, long time ago now. But when it comes to static artillery I'd like to see more British or US. The Bulge US Artillery piece is so good that it would be nice to have something similar for our US Normandy troops (I know they recently got the M7) as they fight their way inland.

My two ' Please don't retire these in September' requests!
