K&C Brisbane Dinner and Q&A Session (1 Viewer)

Just had another thought on suggestions for Mr Neilson: A Barnes Wallis set including the Prof in his overcoat or shirtsleeves beside an Upkeep mine and/or a Grand Slam Bomb. Would be great in the RAF series.

Sounds like a good idea as we already have three of the Dambuster pilots in the RAF series. I know somebody who has a Lancaster so he might care to note this one{sm4}.

A 1/30 Lancaster!!!{eek3} Good Lord! It would be hard running around the house holding that one up and making engine noises. I think I'll stick with 1/72.

I have a couple of Corgi lancs and a Stirling in 1/72 ... And whilst I have not any tin soldiers from WWII ranges, I will gladly purchase a full Bomber Command crew of 7 for display with the Corgi planes.

... And if K&C were to release a second crew of 7, I will buy them all too

I'll second that. I'd love to see a full crew kitted out for an op and ready for the off.

I used to have six Corgi Lancs, two Wellingtons, three Halifaxes and a B-17! All gone now, sadly. (sigh)

Ask him about doing a French and Indian War range.

It would be great!! But I think with it being handled recently and well by those like Jenkins there may not be that great of a market left for another run at it. I doubt KC will do it.

I share your like for the period. I have always loved the movie with Daniel Day Lewis that portrayed the era and uniforms so nice.

Good Luck and do not stop asking...you just never know...I could be wrong.

Mark mate,
Noted cobber.

Gentlemen,
Are there any last minute questions as I fly out early tomorrow morning???? All the questions asked on this thread have been duely noted and will be asked of Andy.

Looking forward to a bit on warmth and sunshine in Brisbane as it is minus two degrees cent. here this morning. Bloody cold. Roll on Summer.

Cheers Howard

I was wondering the same thing.....What's the scoop ????

Howard is entrusted with the overall report while the rest of us will make comment in turn. There are a few interesting scoops, but I will leave it to Howard who taped the presentation to go over details. I will note that a good night was had by all.K&C Gathering.jpg
