They first said 6 inches. Then 5-10. Now they are saying here on Long Island we can get 10-12 inches. I picked up a cord of wood, made sure we had all the necessary supplies, gassed up the cars, took out some cash, and arranged to have the driveway plowed. Having done all that, Murphy's law says we will only get a dusting of snow . . . :rolleyes2:

The high around here tomorrow is 16 and the low -4. Got any extra bedrooms Sammy for me and Mark, and maybe Louis and George?

You are welcome at the Jersey Shore, but some of you would have to sleep in the toy soldier room. Bring plenty of liquid refreshment.

No problem, plenty room for all!! We can call it the Tucson symposium!! :)...Sammy

We got a little bit of snow today, here in northern KY, but it seems like we get affected with more of it during the next couple days, and the temperature is dropping rapidly.
For early next week (Monday/Tuesday) they announced a high of 8 and a low of -6 {eek3}

Nothing like you guys get at the East coast or in the North, but still it's darn cold.

Hope that all of you stay safe and with electric, etc.

You must have the same weatherman Louis, ours said the same thing; first 6 inches, then 5-10, now 10 to 14, we're going to get clobbered here, the Cape is really going to get hammered, 20 to 24 inches, wow.

Seems like myself, Louis and Brad always get hammered during these "weather events", they don't call them storms anymore....................

Got 2-3" so far and the temps are dropping. Wind chills in single digits for tomorrow. Brrr. Good time to inventory my TS and eat chili. ^&grin -- Al

We've been spoiled by some recent mild winters. The pendulum swings back.

Come on, suck it up! The windchill for Eyota is predicted to be -52 on Sunday night (with an air temp of -25). Now THAT'S cold!! :tongue:

We'd take some of your snow, though. Barely enough for the snowmobilers up here!

Isn't that always the case with weathermen? 5-10 inches . . . that translates into anything from a dusting to 2 feet of snow!:rolleyes2:

It says 2-4 here but I think we already got that.

Hmmmm..-25 degrees, maybe I shouldn't take my 70's for granted...Sammy

You know what I'm worried about? Global Warming! Bring it on. -5 this weekend in St Louis. The worst part for me is we have a new puppy, that means taking him out every so hours.
