Col Joshua Chamberlain leads his 20th Maine Volunteers into position on the left flank of Strong's Brigade on Little Round Top, July 2, 1863.

They arrive in position only minutes before Col William Oates 15th Alabama Infantry rushes into view. The Maine Regt unleashes a volley that staggers the Rebel line.

Both regiments trade fire while Oates sends part of his command to the right in an attempt to flank the Union position.

Chris: What a fantastic dio You have there. You did just a great job. I have to agree with everyone else about the way You did Your dio. I really enjoy seeing it keep up the great work and keep the photos coming. What other figures do You have in Your dio if any? "Mr Colt 45" {bravo}} {bravo}} {bravo}}

This is just magnificent work.

Many thanks for the kind comments and like votes guys. Figs include FL and 3 KC flag bearers. KC (and Frontline) make figs with separate flags so I can substitute regimental and nat'l colors for the various units (see part 8, Cold Steel). I changed heads on the KC figs, so they would not appear as identical twins. :smile2: Also repainted the trousers and made a Confed fig as well. Very plsd with the new backdrop, a wooded scene, to depict the LRT scenario. Chris

Wow Chris! Nicely done . . . . I really like your backdrops. Great use and staging of your figures and a very nice story line . . . . .

Chris,
It's funny but I think I've seen this before..........:wink2:

Excellent job, like your groundwork quite a bit and the backgrounds also look great. I like the way you set up the Confederates as they attack in somewhat of a solid line, not a disjointed mob rushing towards the 20th ME.

You did a great job with the forest too, nice spacing on the trees to create a nice canopy behind the troops.

You've been on a nice roll lately, keep up the great work and continue to have fun with your collection, thanks for sharing it with us...........

Appreciate the remarks very much coming from fellow ACW dioramists. Glad you like the dio. Chris

Beautiful Dio!I like the way your backgrounds and bases mesh together.Photographing from behind so that we get the same view that each side had of the other is very effective.Well done.

Chris,

Great job on this and the rest of your ACW Chronicles.

They all have been awesome efforts.

Shane
