Brilliant set up mate you can smell the smoke from their fire.

Thanks Wayne and you are correct inyour observation, but as wonderful as the smell of the smoke from their fire is, I find that their coffee tastes even better :wink2:

Wonderful Mike, I wish we could have more items like this across the range..........it must have happened at every battle.

Thank you very much Scott . . . . . Anymore I find the "lull in the battle" type figures and sets more attractive than the actual combative figures. There was certainly more "marching" than fighting in any conflict that you can think of. The tedium of war was very real and I find that it makes for a good diorama subject . . . .

Mike, very nice set up, I am also a fan of the "camp life" figures. Thinking of doing something around Vicksburg. You have a great collection. Chris

Some ACW figures were delivered to my door yesterday afternoon. Here are a few photos of four of them in use; the two on the far left (Captain, Laborer) and the two on the far right (Artilleryman and Soldier with musket). Its starting to get busy around the cook fire . . . . . .
