There have recently been a couple of models that King and Country put on the market which depict characters and military vehicles as they appeared in big budget war films.
Personaly I like history so I prefer models based on real historical vehicles and uniforms, and not on what a filmaker showed in a film.
To be clear I have nothing against collecting film items. I myself used to collect Starwars figures and accessories. But what I feel is a little inapropriate is when items made up for films are mixed in with models which are taken from historicaly accurate World War two vehicles, uniforms etc.
I would like to humbly ask King and Country to create its own category for models based on films. If we have World of Dickens for models and buildings based on books why not have a new category „World of war films“?
