Fellow collectors after admiring the Britains set of the Changing of the Guard (a photo of same I first saw in a Corrs of Washington catalog in the 1950's) I have finally acquired the set in mint, tied-in-box condition.
Now, I just have to find a place to display it. :rolleyes2:
What fun to see these Britains and Elastolin figures - many of which I had or still have but most without their boxes.

At age 73 I've long thought about what happens to my collection after I'm gone. Part of it will appeal to those here on the Forum (i.e. pre 1968 Britains, Elastolin, Johill, etc.) but the much larger part of it consists of Flats - something of relatively little interest to collectors either in...
Well fortunately for the kids the forecast of snow on Halloween in Saint Louis didn't work out. Unfortunately for them it was near freezing that night.
