  • Hi, KV, just saw your message, I have a couple of irons in the fire, including my Rose Kurassiers, plus some scale aircraft. I'm posting pics of the medallists from our MFCA show last weekend, check it out in the Show Reports thread.
Do you have some pics of your latest work? Have you been casting, too? I'm getting ready to do some casting, it's been a while.

    Hi KV,
whats up buddy? i generally no longer post at TF, as i am posting at CTSC. how are you mate? good to hear you are in better health. every forum needs a vampire! so how's you're collecting?
maybe we should bring this cordial exchanges to email - nasirkasmani@gmail.com. see ya!!
Still being grateful. Everyday I hear of great tragedies. It seems like so many are lost for stupid reasons or by stupid people who think they are the only ones who feel that way, or no one will understand. When I hear of people killing their families or cops I have to ask why? I also ask why I was spared. I am so grateful for the stuff I have and Nancy and all of my friends here. Keep it real, and thank you for visiting.

Oh and thanks to the Halls from Sierra Toy Soldier and Andrew for helping out.
I changed my location to San Mateo. I finished packing and the last load is in the truck. So much stuff. I am glad it is almost over. I have spent the last week going back and forth. All I have to do is unload this puppy. Thanks for dropping by.
Because I am technologically deficient and don't know how to post photographs. However, many photographs of my collection have been posted by Brad Lewin, Tom Dubel and Pete Reuss.
To absent friends! I found a letter from a friend who died just before 9-11. It was the day of her Memorial Service. I met her 18 years ago she was a fun person to be around. She had a lot of friends and she was married to a guy named Adrian. I have been divorced along time now. Never could find the right one until Nancy. Janice died from a form of cancer that took her very quickly. Reading the letter I realised she was always getting sick. You just never know. My mom died of a weird form of Parkinsons. All of my grandparents have been gone for a long time. My paternal grandmother did get to see my son. That was a big thing for her. I do not know what this is about . I guess that letter touched me. This is what comes of packing and moving. Some things about growing up are just not fun. Oh well thanks for reading this. I will try to be more upbeat next time my friends
How true my friend like you I was wow'ed. Hope all's well at your end and that the move has gone smoothly and your getting settled in. Looking forward to seeing you playing with your new Frontline additions defending themselves against your Zulu Warriors. Take care My Lord General
I am going to try and unpack some of them soon at my new place this weekend. Going to sell some trains this weekend too.
    hi KV
haven't done any repaints recently.been concentrating on building up my spartan and viking forces. Those conte figures are pretty cool. Good luck with the packing, and hope its not too long before you get to unpack em again
Anytime from September to February are the best months.
SPRING: 1st September 'til 31 November.
SUMMER: 1 December 'til 28 February.
It came to me that there were some other people who were not on my gratitude list. The surgeons. Dr.s Efrron and Flint. These guys were great. Dr. Flint stayed on 14 days in a row during my coma to make sure that all the staff understood what he wanted them to do for me. Dr. Effron whose skill with the scalpel no doubt saved my life. Both of these men are the best. The nursing staff was fantastic and memorable to say the least. I was in good hands though some of them expected I would not make it. Thanks to all of you I did. Gods bless.
Look at all the fun you'll have as you begin to unpack your figures and I got a hunch it'll be no fun if your not allowed to play with them my Lord General. Hope your feeling great and enjoy the weekend
With my son helping a large portion has been packed a way. Now I have to finish the trains which another portion was put away thanks to my sons' help. I am so lucky tohave such good friends and family. Looks like the move is going to be on the 25th of April. Pray for me. I will have most of the big stuff taken care of Cabinets go out this weekend coming up. Will take some of the figures with to unpack.
Happy weekend gentle fiends. Thank you for looking on my profile. Over 6400 visitors so far. I really wish you all would say Hi. Do you guys like my new signature picture? My so made that for me. I picked him up from Fresno yesterday. So I am taking a break today. Packed a lot of K&C yesterday. I wish Andy would print the number of the piece to go with the box. Used Sagers website to id the soldiers with the box. Lined up the boxes by series and # then started looking them up. Worked pretty well and I found most of them. Missing one box only right now. Just have to finish the LAH and then all the miscellaneous stuff. Close to a thousand pieces. I will wrap them individually and then box.

You know? I have an awful lot of soldiers.:D Not 30,000 perhaps but really a lot of soldiers. Conte, Britains, K&C, and Imperial, to mention a few. Plus all the ones I have made and bought and painted for myself. Ya never know until you start packing.
    Hello KV
Did Fusilier ever make any figures in Matte we got in some on consignment and look as though they may have been repainted?
Gentle fiends, It is a sad day for the law enforcement family here in CA. Three police officers were killed in the performance of their duties and several more injured some critically. The details are all over the place so I will not go into them here. What disturbs me the most is the attitudes/culture of some of the residents of that city. Bystanders saying things like the cops had it coming . Garbage like that. These people (if one can call them that) are not deserving of their police force. I would like to see them survive without them. I come from a family of cops. My Dad, uncle and cousin, sergeants and lieutenants all. I went to the academy for awhile myself. My girlfriend is an ex-cop. I know cops. Some good a few bad but all Angels in blue. Please remember them in your prayers tonight.
