We lost both of our dog's over christmas one to old age & one to illness so i know what its like, hopefully the operation will go well.

Hi Mate, I love the sound of the Pipes it goes all the way back to being a child my Father had an old 8 track of pipe music and my brother and I used to march around the kitchen banging on pots with spoons. I have played drums most of my life and every time I go to a competition I think about getting back to it.. Have you guys recorded anything ? Most of the photo's were taken at the FORUM 1813 in Leipzig and at the Blücher museum in Kaub on the Rhein in sept . Have you ever been to Waterloo ? All the best Gebhard
Hi nshighlander , Glad to be invited on board. Are you a Drummer in a Pipe band ? Have you heard of the City of Washington Pipe band ? I think there CD Rant is very good. Cheers Gebhard
Hi Dave thanks for the comments on the RAF Pipe band thought you might like them. What tartans does your band have? How goes life in the Canadian Armed Forces, the troops in Afghanistan are having a tough time only the other day I had reports of an RAF Police (my old mob) being wounded on a patrol apparently hes recovering well.

I have several projects on the go, besides painting commissions, I have got some Rose figures on ebay from John Eden studios about 10 Royal Marines from about the 1805 period I plan to paint them in the same style as Britain's redcoats so that I can add to them, either from my own painted stuff or actual Britain's redcoat range Ive also just received this am, a Rose Duke of Marlborough mounted, also soldier and drummer from the same period .What projects are you working on at present?

    Best Regards John
